One of those days....

Get in Nauti's and alarm goes off (FOB was in pocket) and alarm silences once I started
Then google will not navigate because I need to enable "personal results" (It had been working before but on first trip I used "send to car" used that)
I tried to enable but needed confirmation on another device (it was sending "It is me" to my tablet at home not my phone) and did not have google password handy
Then did a reboot
Lincoln app then complained about low tire pressure (tires were fine since I had just checked before the first drive). My guess during the reboot it could not read pressues.
Got home and used my password (had not figured out it was sent to tablet until wife mentioned the prompts)

Hmmm.

We got update ECG-25.2.8.5 last night. It says it's for more seamless communication between modules and there's no apparent change for users.

Today we have Internet Signal Lost.

I had 24.2.8.4.1 in September.

I wish they would get this stuff done right the first time. No wonder they can't fix features. the underlying architecture is not stable

Ours did today as well. Only seems to do these OTA updates while away from our home network.... not sure but everyone that has applied has always been while not at home. Curious to see any differences or enhancements with this one

I'm pretty sure ours updated at home on WiFi, but I can't be 100%. Btw, the update details says the change has no visible effect.

Have not seen it yet but the last time arrived while driving. Could it be a battery saving action so not to "wake up" the Nautitlus?

Update. I went to the garage and started the Nauti and within a few minutes I got an update notification. It downloaded and installed.

We've had at least 3 OTA updates (the two recent Software Update 11 ones and a prior one) using our home WiFi. We're basically in a dead zone for cell coverage, I have the vehicle connected to our Guest network (no access to the computers we use in the home, just to the Internet).

I also have crappy cell and mine is connected to a strong wifi too. In this case, when I saw the new version, I went down and started the car and checked for updates. There were none. I let it run a few minutes while I checked some other settings and rechecked software updates. It stated an update was in process so just turned off vehicle. I checked again in 15 minutes and it reported update complete. Phone took a little longer to show the update. I am pretty sure the download was over wifi. It was in the garage the entire time.

I did a reboot after completed.

The number reporting an update around the same time is different.

On my wife's Sabaru, they require the engine to stay running during process.

I’m not sure what update I got a couple of days a go but I now have an option for a split screen on the center display where it has a small map on the left, what entertainment is playing on the lower right and a search bar at the top on the right. It seems this is activated by a small box in the lower left of the screen. I use CarPlay and Waze as my center display map so it is nice to have the split screen since Waze doesn’t display well on the large up front display. Also, an update I got added the compass as a widget. My wife prefers the other widgets so only use it when I’m alone. Does anyone think there may be more widgets coming?
I too have been wondering what I loose when connectivity goes away, however, it seems to keep being extended every time I look. It is now due to expire at the end of January. We bought the 24 Nautilus Rev II in April of 24 so we are now 1yr and 9 m0nths into connectivity.

I have had mine since Feb 2024 and had the 1 extension that brought it to 11/30/25 expiration date.

I purchased in July 2024 and was notified my subscription would expire Nov 30th. As of 1:22 PM Dec 1 I still have full functionality

I’ve noticed a few things:
1. Native Google Navigation will only work within the geographic area where your car already has downloaded maps. For example, when I tried to navigate locally, it worked. But when I tried to navigate somewhere I have never driven to it will not work.
2. Within the navigation that still works, the real-time data like current traffic does not load.
3. I was still able to use Google Voice Assistant to control my car’s temperature.
4. Google can no longer tell me the local weather verbally.
5. The Google Play store is no longer online. It won't load apps that are available to be downloaded. It still seems to have the existing apps that were installed. But it can't update them.
6. There is a brief "can't connect" message displayed now and then... like when you load Google Maps.
7. There is now an "A connectivity package available" message permanently displayed on the lower left of the Home Screen.
8. Right now, the upper map screen still displays Google Maps of my local area. But I suspect that if I were to drive out of the local area, when it no longer has maps downloaded, it might display a blank area in the map display. Or perhaps an error message. Not sure I will like that.

If you just got the compass, you should also have got an alternative type of clock and an alternative type of weather widgets. These are settings on the widget when selecting them to the screen.

This is consistent with what I see. I had added a My Radar app and it no longer works and cannot even remove it. There is a link to re-activate using a QR code and provides an option to turn off upper map. If you use a phone, the map will still appear on both but looks different (has gradient border and not always in dark mode). Widgets all work.

I hadn't seen the option to turn off the upper map yet. I'll look for it. Have you done that? If so, does it just leave empty dark space where it was?

Since I use Android Auto, when I navigate it shows up on booth screens.

I did notice that Siriux XM always starts in demo mode as if not a registered but if you pick a saved channel it appears to work normally. The voice command aspect for SiriusXM is now intermittent in Lincoln mode and my cell SiriusXM does work but just not as well a Lincoln app.

I did notice one thing with AA today. After I parked in garage, maps showed Welcome Home message and had an option to save "Parking", No idea what that means and did not take time to explore.
