My Lincoln
2001 Town Car
I thought I'd start this thread to give everyone (myself included) an opportunity to share pics of their beloved rides.

Here's my 2000 autumn red cartier

I bought one like it last weekend. 2001 with 116k miles. So far I like it, but I do have to have the air spring system checked out. The compressor comes on for ten secs or so every few minutes, though no noticeable issue with suspension sag. Not sure what’s going on. But it’s in great condition overall and I only paid $3k for it.

Here's our '04 Ultimate with its new shoes, GT500 wheels with 275/40-19 Pirellis. The tires are 0.1" taller than stock for reference (in other words, not enough to notice), I think they give the car a nice stance. Sits a bit high in the rear since the PO converted to coil springs :(. View attachment 15296

Hi all, I’m from New Zealand and imported this Lincoln last year. It’s only got 70,000mls on it, a black leather interior with white exterior. It was a California car. I just love it and it’s a rare sight here on the roads of NZ. 3FD30EB3-03E4-4B1E-836C-DC124D4E6721.jpeg 6C09F242-FDD9-4EFE-A275-D43AC81B71BF.jpeg F3C384F5-5712-490D-85BC-64025063B8D0.jpeg

And replace the intake manifold while you have it apart. :)
My intake manifold has an aluminum water cross over. This means it has been changed already, correct?

Looks like you have 2004, so the answer is no. Ford used all plastic up to 2001/2002. After that, they switched to the IM with an aluminum runner. So yours could be original.

@silversurfer that is a nice looking car. I like the way those wheels look! Do you know what they were from? Don't look like TC wheels.
Thankyou, the wheels are original factory. They have Lincoln centre caps also. I have only seen one other tc with them. I wasn’t too sure when I purchased it in California that I really wanted the chrome wheels but when it arrived I was quite happy with them. They contrast nicely with the chrome grill.

They look "different" than what we usually see on '98-'02 cars because the wheels are usually "dished-in" in the center if that is a correct term, and the center of yours is closer to the outer rim like the '03+ cars.
