Despite what i "should" be doing on a saturday morning around the house, kids and i washed, clay'd, and waxed the Town Car that just hit 180k on the odo (and momma's minivan). I really enjoy cleaning these cars, they make darn sure to reward hard work in looks. Later this summer i hope to do a full polish, that pearl white gleams.

My 2011 Continental Edition, now only about 10,500 original miles. Tint and HID headlights. Sadly the OEM original whitewalls were just replaced with regular black walls. Like a brand new car almost. Great deal I couldn't pass up, always wanted one of these. Overall gas mileage isn't too much worse than my V6 Infiniti. Similar.
I love it I’m thinking in fall getting one was not sure what best year to get in this third generation

My 2011, Continental Edition, only at 13,743 original miles. Almost like new. No air suspension , 3.55 rear axle, police interceptor engine. I replaced original tires late last year. I went to Blackwalls , less maintenance and far cheaper than whitewalls I could find. I had HID headlights added which make a huge improvement at night. The vanity plates, lol. View attachment 7876
Beautiful car torn between this or 1997 town car

I have owned a 92,94,95,97,2000,2001,2003,2004,05,07,10 Lincoln Town Cars. Trust me,95-97 were the worst years so sell it while it is pretty. Buy a 98-2002, a perfect combination of sporty and luxury. You can go to the 2003-2011 and be happier also. The gas mileage on the 98-2011 is surprisingly good, usually 18 city but up to 25 on highway, I actually get 28 driving 45-55mph! I will be buried with my Lincoln.
Wow you had many do you think 2011 whould be the best year to owe

Hi guys, just registered here and I thought I'd share my Town Car that I bought a few weeks ago from Sweden and imported it to Finland, since I have a question someone might be able to answer but first about the car.

It's '89 town car "gold edition" with 48k miles in the odo. It was imported to Sweden in 2018 from the US and that's about all I know about the history. The question I have is about the "gold edition". I haven't found any info of It from the internet so far. All the emblems are gold, It has a "gold edition" emblem in the trunk lid, no opera windows and a sunroof (not functioning though, atleast yet). So if you guys have any info of this particular edition, I would really appreciate it.

Why I bought It? Well, I have always liked these last proper (and by this I mean the boxy styled and designed with a ruler) American sedans made in the 80's. I had been looking for either one of these or a caprice for quite a while but not that seriously. Then I broke my leg on a snow mobile and suddenly had more time to browse for these over the internet and I came across with this and here we are. It was around 9k in usd and since Europe in general is not full of these I went ahead and bought It.

Outstanding looking automobile. Real gangster look. You will love it. I don’t know about the gold edition. Just drive it with a big smile on your face.

I absolutely love it already. That gangster look certainly pops out in traffic here in north europe between the black and white Volvos and grey nissans :D

Thanks

What a great looking car. Seems outstanding condition.
