Oh, I don't know. I prefer "my" Mark IV below that I had when I worked for Ford.



I write "my" in quotation marks because I didn't really own it; FMC leased it to me for next to nothing. Note that the "porthole" was a delete option and I deleted. Drove all over the country in that beast.

My 2nd favorite model. Suicide doors are still the coolest way to get in/out of your car. The current model is my 3rd fav. Beautiful car!

Thank you! I’m branching out and exploring all kinds of upgrades. I ordered mine from eBay. If you check out my posts, I’ve included the stores I used. The rear storage wasn’t listEd on eBay when I got mine. The guy went and found me some. So, they may or may not be listed. If you email the store, they’ll get them for you and provide you a listing. Next time I’m on, I’ll see if they have a listing for all 4. Mine are great. I love them! Follow my posts, I’m posting all my upgrades and install notes. Contact me any time with questions.

Some updated pictures. I should have the new black grill w/ illuminated LED floating logo, soon. I’m just waiting on the logo. I MAY change out the wheels again. I’m also considering some kind of wrap enhancement. Then, I may buy another one, and start all over. This has been fun!

New addition to my 2017 Continental. Pix as promised of the installed black grill and floating LED emblem. I had the work done at my dealership minor collision section. This means that I get certified Lincoln work, without paying the full $265hr labor cost. I still paid $400+ but it was to install the grill, which I purchased on EBay, and wiring and install to LED emblem, which I ordered from Raymax.com. So, I’m nearly satisfied with all the upgrades. I will clean up a couple of issue that I don’t like. I’m considering new wheels. I have floating logo hubs that are too small for these wheels, so I may get wheels to fit the hubs. The last thing I’m looking to do is some sort of wrap. The car has some paint chips, and I’m thinking that it may be more cost effective to do a wrap in those areas. The only other thought is that my dealership is in love with the car. The mileage is low. If a proper deal can be made on a 3.0 AWD Black Label, I may start all over!

The LED Star on the black grill certainly makes more of a statement without compromising the fundamental design premise of the Continental; well done. Of course, the sky’s the limit when it comes after-market add-ons so finding that sweet spot is a delicate proposition.

Sometime when it's convenient for you, perhaps you could take a picture of the front-end at night to get the full benefit of the illuminated star.

Welcome to the forum, Mr. Johnson! Thanks for posting the before and after photos showing your new boots. It is really quite amazing how much the new Vogues change the look of the wheels. It creates the illusion that you have put on bigger rims with lower-profile tires and they really emphasize the spoke design of the stock wheels making an altogether more striking visual statement, particularly on the black car. Well done!

See, it doesn’t seem quite as bright as I hoped, during the day. But, when I actually looked, the daytime brightness is just right. I haven’t been very successful with the nighttime pictures. The lens flare is crazy, and doesn’t reflect, just how beautiful it is. I’ll work on it, but here are my attempts. One thing that I’m surprised about, is how bright the star is at night. It’s doesn’t appear as bright during the day, but it makes a real statement at night.

Thanks for the new pics. Don’t worry about the technical quality; I get the idea. Any reasonable driver seeing that in his. rearview mirror should want to get out of the way.
