Rear middle console

I'm not sure either, but Tasca also states it does not fit a 2022 Aviator Reserve.
I guess if the FordParts one doesn't fit you could always return it. Good luck.

Peter
When I installed my console I noticed that when I used my VIN to search parts sometimes it said it wouldn't fit. I'm guessing it was because the vehicle wasn't equipped with it from the factory. I found an Aviator for sale that had the full console and I used that VIN and said parts fit. I'm not sure if that's what you're dealing with but I found that when I did mine. If you have part numbers, you can also check ebay. Good luck!

Our 23' Reserve did not come with the large/fancy console. Vehicle was on the lot and otherwise just as I would have ordered (AWD Black-Jet Package & Sandstone interior). However, my wife was very happy, as it is much easier to access the third row, and she gets stuck back there when we have larger adults in the rest of the seats. Since I'm always driving, it really doesn't affect me, other than the large console looks much more luxurous. Guess the ideal would be a large console, that could be removable when using the rear seats!!! A "Plug and Play Console"!!! Maybe I'll invent one.... as "The Impossible Just Takes Me Longer!!!"

Thanks for the excellent information. For those that can't find a used one, I am attaching the entire list of parts you will need to make the conversion from partial to FULL console. One issue I am having is the semi-exposure of the mounting bracket showing from the carpet cut-out. It seems the side trays do not fully cover the carpet like the mini-console does on my 2022 Aviator. Below is the entire list of parts I purchased to make this all work.

Some parts have to be color matched to your trim. I added a column stating whether color-matching is required or not.

I remember the odd way I had to find and order my full rear console in Dec 2021 with my Aviator order. Had to drill down in 'accessories' etc. Shout out to you for putting all this info up

Update on the console retrofit. Finally had time to work on it. Sourced a complete console from eBay, I had to order the mounting bracket from local dealer along with side trays. I was told the wire harness "should be there, but some aren't"...mine didn't so I ordered that too. Total parts ordered are:
Mounting bracket - LC5Z-7804-5B34-A (direct bolt in where the cupholder bracket or bench seat is located)
2 side trays - LC5Z-78045N28-AK and AD (left and right)
Mounting bolts (4) - W711158-S439
Wire Harness - N1MZ-14A699-B
Installation is fairly straightforward, unbolt seats and tilt forward (no need to unplug or remove). Unbolt front bolts on cupholder bracket, rear bolts accessible under carpet. Have to do it by feel, but no issue. Swap brackets, new mounting surface is slightly longer so carpet had to be trimmed a couple inches to fit. Plug for wire harness is located under carpet in front of 2nd row left seat. Plug cable in and feed under carpet to center bracket and plug into console. Bolt console down and side trays snap right in. Reinstall seats and bingo. Total time was less than 3 hours. I suck at taking progress photos but I attached one of cupholder bracket and finished job.
I really appreciate this instruction. It is super helpful. I have acquired a console from ebay and will be attempting the retrofit in the coming days. Can you show me on the picture where the plug for the wire harness is in front of the seat? "In front of 2nd row left seat" would be where the passenger's feet go. Or is it under the driver's seat? Just checking before I start the work.

For general information for the rest of y'all, I have been searching for one of these for about six months, and this is the first one I found. Came out of a salvaged 2022 Aviator. My local dealer also refused to order or install the parts. The console I got does not match our interior, but I have ordered the proper color trim pieces to replace them with. I also had to order the wiring harness, as the one I got with the unit was yanked out and damaged rather than simply unplugged. Go figure.

If anyone wants the old/smaller cupholder and mounting bracket, I'll be happy to part with them.

Congrats on locating the console! I don't have photos of the location, but the plug is located behind the driver seat and can be accessed through the carpet cutout once the 2nd row seat is removed. Mine had a cap covering the plug, just remove that and plug your new harness into it and snake it under the carpet to the front of the console. Bummer about the dealer not cooperating, can be a bit of a struggle but you'll get it sorted.

Welcome to the Forum. 👋
It is not surprising that the dealer won't install it. They are hesitant to do any type of modification to these vehicles, partly I guess because of possible liabilities. This has been brought up several times in both the Lincoln and Explorer forums Good luck.

I’d like to get your smaller console as I need it for kid access.

Anyone have a photo of the carpet area after mini console removal? Wondering if this is fairly flat.

Here is the area after mini console removal with console bracket still in place. When full size bracket is installed the front corner bolts are exposed. I covered bolts with carpet that was trimmed from under full size console area, can't tell once seats are reinstalled.

Do you think that bracket shown is also removable? Appears just two bolts.

There 4 bolts, the rear 2 are under the carpet. They can be removed with carpet in place by using a wrench instead of a ratchet. If installing the full size console it's a different bracket but uses the same holes.

Ok thanks!. Sounds like all 4 bolts are accessible to remove the bracket. Then it seems like it would be flat enough to lay a small mat or rug over it flat, but unsure without a photo with the bracket removed.

I figured I'd throw this out to anyone that is interested in selling their big console. I'm looking to upgrade my mini to the big one. So, if anyone is looking to get rid of theirs or want to do a swap, etc., let me know.

Excellent forum. I too got the small one in my Black interior. Looking for a big one. Anyone selling one? I'll but it for the $750 and give you mine.

I've been looking for a while for one too and would pay at least that. If you find a source let me know.

I got my full size console off ebay but some salvage yards online are starting to get some in and they ship.

Thanks Moondog. Been checking eBay a couple times a week without luck. As time goes by the yards should get some but I haven't found any down that route either.
