Has anyone got there 22 aviator with the big 2nd row middle console? We picked up my wife’s yesterday and it just has some cup holders and a little tray. I was under the impression that it was going to be the full size console.

FYI, my 2020 has the low step-over console. I guess it's useful for getting to the 3rd row, especially if you have children. I don't have the 2022 Lincoln Order Guide yet so I am not able to check that out. On the 2022 Explorer, the 2nd-row console shows as a Deleted item.

I am pretty sure you have to specify full size console during the order process otherwise you get the stepover one which I prefer since I have kids.

Which trim? Standard, Reserve, Reserve 1, Touring? The website shows; Available on Reserve I, Grand Touring I, Black Label and Black Label Grand Touring.
It is part of an option package.

You can also specify a delete of it if you like as I have every package on my GT but didn't want the console.

Thank you Matthew. I don't know why so many here seem to be reluctant to specify what they are driving in a Signature. Coming from the Ford Explorer forum I find it very frustrating. I'm so used to checking the margin profile before replying. So do you know if you ordered the console? It is part of an option package.

I noticed this while ordering my 2022 Aviator. It's a bit of an (unintentional?) bait and switch but the renders always show the full-size console (whether you selected the option or not) as you "build" the car on the website. The full-size console (which I would really like to have gotten) requires a ton of other pricey add-ons that I had no interest in, so I didn't get it. This left me wondering what the console I ordered would actually look like, so I found some Aviator pictures which show it (presumably the same as the console you now have).

When we ordered it we were asked if we wanted the 3 seats or the middle counsel. So I just assumed it was the same counsel as the used 21 they had on the lot. Guess I shouldn’t be assuming. It was just kind of a bummer expecting the big middle counsel and getting some cup holders and a little tray

Yeah I thought that was the only console available. It sucks for sure

Same here. Lucky for me I realized it before I ordered so I won't suffer the letdown. Small consolation, but as other noted, it does have one advantage in that it's easy to step over. With the full-size console, it's going to be moving the seat out of the way to get a kid in the back row.

You do have to specify the full size console, I don’t believe there is an additional cost if you do specify the console.

Hi ColdOne. The way optional features normally work is like this: If it is an option or part of an option package on the Aviator model you order, you have to include ("specify") it in your order and it costs extra.

If it comes standard on the Aviator model you order, you do not need to "specify" it in the vehicle order, and there would be no "additional" cost.

Good luck.

Hi gang. I just took a look at the 2022 Aviator Dealer Order Guide.

The only way I see to get the Full Rear Console is as part of Option Package "68D". It consists of:

"Full Rear Console with Panoramic Vista Roof® Shade Controls and Two (2) Smart
Charging USB Ports (Types A & C)
Note: Not available with Second Row Bench Seat (687)".

Hope this information helps.

Good luck.

Was never reluctant, just hadn't thought of it. Good idea and now included.

BBF- that makes sense and apparently I have selected the options to have it included. We went for the mini console so the grandkids could get in and out.

Yes, it is an expensive addition considering all that comes with it. When I was doing the "build and price' I selected the full console and a pop-up indicated a change was required that had a cost of over $6000.

I ordered an Aviator Reserve last week with the reserve 1 option. When going through the options list I was given the option of either console; and I selected the full size one, at no additional cost. Hopefully, that is what I get.

Hi Wild. Are you getting the Panoramic Vista Roof and/or Option Package 67D?

EDIT- LOL...Mystery solved. Essentially, you paid ~$7,380 for the Full Rear Console (and the other features of the Reserve 1 package).
Explanation- I just went to the Lincoln website and built a Reserve. Your upgrade to the Reserve 1 is a ~$7,380 MSRP option. And the Full Rear Console is contained in that option package as a "free" choice. You can have the mini console or the full size one.
So the reason there seemed to be "no additional cost" when you chose the full rear console is because it is already part of the Reserve 1 Package you previously chose. The choice of either the mini console or the full rear console is already contained in that $7,380.

Hope this is not too confusing.

Good luck.

The reserve comes standard with the Panoramic Vista Roof. I have ordered to equipment group 201A; which includes the Elements package plus, the Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, Heads up Display and Phone as key.
