2024 delivery schedule

I may have to go to my dealer and show them what they can pull off of vinview because I'm not getting even close to this level of detail.

But having figured out it was the Chorus on my own....

What I don't like is that according to the tracking app, the Chorus is now 2 days overdue and isn't on the "expected" list for the port. For the past 2 days it has been doing circles near Yantai. update: appears to be in port now.

Your dealer has the window sticker for your vehicle? But it's not on the Lincoln website, right?

Hi agogley. Not sure if anyone already explained this above, so just in case: If you have your VIN...Type the website that Lars5457 linked to above into your address bar up to/including the "=" sign, and replace Lars5457's VIN with yours.

If your window sticker is available, you will be able to access the PDF.

EDIT- Oooops! I was a bit too slow. You already did it as I was typing my reply!

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Dealer confirmed today that mine is at the next port in the yellow sea right now. Sounds like the Chorus might be the ship.

Can anyone explain the tests that need to be performed on our new cars before we get them? I was told today there were a few.Thank you

I'm not aware of any tests that need to be performed. Are you referring to the manufacturer or the dealer? My Aviator had a sticker on it to account for the mileage due to the test driving done before shipping. Not all vehicles go though that procedure.

Glavis Chorus left Yantai bound for Portland. ETA is 1/9.
I’m currently looking at my dealers inventory for 24 nautilus. The dealer told me one car that they ordered that I’m interested in is due to the dealer on 3/16. Can I assume it’s on one of the three transports that we are all currently keeping an eye on?

An update to my previous post above. What they are referring to could be the EPA gas mileage and crash test results for the vehicle.

When vehicles arrive they must be PDI’ed, pre-delivery inspected. They arrive in ‘transport mode’ where many features are turned off until a tech inspects it and turns that off. They check physical things like tire pressure and fluids. Center caps for wheels are installed and other stuff. Then a quick test drive. With the new ones having the screen all the way across there may be some sort of new quick check to be done. But for now it’s just a basic check and drive then into stock for delivery if nothing arises from those two things.

Hi Peter This is what I was told yesterday by a woman who tracked my car for me at Lincoln(ford) direct , she said being it came in from China there were a bunch of tests it has to go through I don’t know, that’s why I asked. She had no other information for me and Im tired of chasing my salesperson for answers. I assumed once it got through customs it was good to go. Im just being curious since I have never been through anything like this before. Thanks for answering

Maybe. The last vessel we are currently tracking is the Glovis Chorus due January 11th. March 16th seems a little late for that ship so maybe there’s a 4th ship we don’t have on our radar yet.

Edit: to fix ship names because I have no idea why I mixed them up.

I think you mean the JIUYANG BLOSSOM due on the 1st or 2nd, GLOVIS CHORUS due on the 10th or 11th, or on as yet unidentified ship that departed on 12/27.

Yes, just typo.

I think 3/16 to the dealer is too late for either vessel since it would be 60 days from the Glovis Chorus. I suspect 3/16 due date would be a 4th vessel that we aren’t tracking yet.

Word is a vessel every 2 weeks. Personally I think that’s the 1st or 2nd which would make for a January 30th arrival. 3/16 would then be 45 days making that a more likely timeframe.

EPA gas mileage and NHTSA crash ratings have yet to be assigned as far as I know. Apparently, vehicles cannot be sold without them having been certified/approved. I believe that is was being referred to as "some tests".

Thank you so much for this information!!

Not much new to offer. But I had a couple of comments about shipments.
  1. According to importinfo.com, Platinum Ray imported 1,000 vehicles for Ford Trading Co. Isn't the Nautilus the only import? That's a good start. GM and Hyundai both imported 1600-some on Platinum Ray as well.
  2. I'm waiting on Glovis Chorus. But I noticed that Tacoma has the ship scheduled to arrive on 1/8. Hmmm. I don't see that anywhere else. 1000005888.webp

Crash results do not matter. As I said in the other thread, I have purchased vehicles 3 in fact without this information. They were eventually released except the Ioniq 6.

That's interesting. Hyundai shows their service map going through Canada, Tacoma, then Portland. Also notice the Liberty Promise is not listed as bound for Tacoma on other sites.

Also noticing some other discrepancies. I don't see Green Lake on its site and the dates for some other ships don't match their current routes.

The Precious Ace is a ship due in Shanghai and Tacoma has it on its site. That's also interesting.

Here are location updates for the Blossum and Chorus:
