2024 delivery schedule

Crash results do not matter. As I said in the other thread, I have purchased vehicles 3 in fact without this information. They were eventually released except the Ioniq 6.
I was only repeating what others have said on here. Apparently the EPA ratings also were not on some of the earlier window stickers that a few members were able to pull up. That may have changed by now.

Not sure if any of this helps but my 2023 Lexus NX450H+ was built in Japan. It was built on 2/25/23. Vessel departed 3/3/23 and arrived 3/30/23. I thought it would come in on the west coast. But the ship arrived in Jacksonville, FL. It processed on 4/4/23 and put on truck 4/6/23. I took delivery on 4/7/23 in Melbourne, FL.

But that is Lexus. Ford could have a different plan but don’t assume it will come in on the West Coast. It took 27 days to float it from Japan to Jacksonville.

I noticed today that I can go to [edit: caredge.com] (which now shows over 4K Nautilus vehicles in transit) and search on my VIN and my vehicle shows up. It says it has 2 miles driven and has been on the market for 7 days. I never put any money down. I hope it doesn't get sold from under me. 😄

Swindler, is the link to website correct?
Tim.

Mine says it has 48 miles on it!!

I see it shows up on Edmunds com and my dealer's website inventory as well. I think I'll send them a note today… 🤨

I guess the site only services US orders. Says VIN not found. I definitely like to know how many miles are on it already.
Tim.
That's possible Tim. When I was tracking my Aviator build, I had to use the site shown on the Lincoln Canada site or else I would get much the same message as you did.

Yeah if you don’t have a deposit and it was a dealer inventory order then they very well might sell it from underneath you. Mine doesn’t show up in searches at my dealer.

It was a pre-order per my specs. I have an order sheet I signed back in June. But they never asked for a deposit.

I think I know what you mean as fat as whether the order was from their dealer allotment. That might be, because even though I ordered in June and received a confirmation letter, I was told it wasn't completed and had to resign the pre-order in October.

That said, they do have 52 vehicles in transit. At least it's not a rare commodity.

I still don't see any Hyundai ships bound for the North American West Coast that recently visited Shanghai. There are two ships arriving in Shanghai tomorrow and the 5th. The Glovis Caramel and Glovis Solomon on the 5th. I did look at about 45 ships with Glovis in the name...so maybe there's something I missed.

We all thank you for your hard work, but I don't believe it has to be a 'Glovis' ship. Going back to the post linked below on 12/7 by @7.62Kolectr, he showed event records and mapping for our first observation of Nautilus vehicles on the water. I was able to recognize that ship as the Platinum Ray, one I had already been tracking.

But if you look at the event records in the attachment, Hyundai Glovis is still listed as the shipping line. They may be overseeing the shipments regardless of the vehicle carrier.

As usual my dealer has less information that me just from being part of online groups. I ask him to check my vehicle because I know it has been listed as shipped.

Dealer: it's been shipped.

Me: Yeah, thanks Sherlock. I just told you it was shipped. What else can you tell me?

Dealer: Other dealers have said they expect cars to come in end of March because we are in Florida which is the other side of the country from where the cars will be arriving. So I think your car will come then.

ME: Wow...You mean Florida is on the opposite end of the country from the West Coast? On what basis are these dealers coming up with a couple more months in FL versus other states given travel by train and truck doesn't add up that much time? Can you check vinview?

Dealer: Ok...I'll try.

This is the same dealer who had ZERO info about the Orlando auto show. Another dealer apparently had the show. But they didn't know that Miami autoshow had a dealer with a Nautilus at the show.

My experience with dealers is I guess what I'd expect. They don't know much of anything about the cars much less the competition.
Can I ask where in Florida your dealer is? Mine is Ocala but I just ordered 12/26/23. I'm curious if you're talking about my dealer. I want to set expectations. Thanks in advance.

Post in thread 'Who has submitted an order for the new 2024 Nautilus?'
This having to link the other thread is an issue I mentioned some time ago. The way I see it, this is the thread that should be tracking the delivery of the Nautilus as it is titled "2024 Delivery Schedule". The purpose of the linked thread was to determine which members had placed orders for the new Nautilus.
Unfortunately, it seems both threads have morphed into the same topic, 'delivery'.
Anyway, that's just my nickel's worth (we no longer have the penny ;)).

Back to regular programming.

Peter- Yes you're right about users crossing threads.I try not to unless I'm replying directly to a post.

But that's actually an error I was going to mention. If you click on the link, it takes you to a post in the thread "Delivery schedule", not "Who has submitted…". I created the link. But I did it by clicking the share post icon and that's the text that was clipped forward. I didn't notice until later that it was the wrong thread. I'm not sure how I managed to create the error.

It seems fine now.
