Admin can but then you would have a mixture of replies. I'm a moderator on the Explorer forum but not here. I probably would have moved some replies a while ago but now the floodgates have opened. It would take some time to sort out the posts and move them.

We all thank you for your hard work, but I don't believe it has to be a 'Glovis' ship. Going back to the post linked below on 12/7 by @7.62Kolectr, he showed event records and mapping for our first observation of Nautilus vehicles on the water. I was able to recognize that ship as the Platinum Ray, one I had already been tracking.

But if you look at the event records in the attachment, Hyundai Glovis is still listed as the shipping line. They may be overseeing the shipments regardless of the vehicle carrier.

Post in thread 'Who has submitted an order for the new 2024 Nautilus?'

The problem is I also didn’t see any other ships that matched the description either. I’ll look again tomorrow ans we should have updated vinview that we can use to xref.

Can any of you have have access to any additional information see if you can find anything on VIN #5LMPJ8K47RJ793579. I ordered it in August. My dealer told me a week or so ago it was being built. I’m just trying to see where it is in the process.thanks all

Found this on port of Portland site. Has rail times to major cities by number of hours:

I think that might be passenger rail. Cargo rail will be slower.

EDIT: I take it back. Those might be freight delivery times. But the intermodal network is limited to major rail heads and those times are to major nodes in the network. To get to other cities the rail cars are often transferred to other trains, which make many more stops than the high traffic lanes. Most freight does not run on a fixed timetable, so delivery times can vary quite a bit.

You can also pay more to have your freight on a train that makes fewer stops and gets there faster. We won't be on those trains.

I see it shows up on Edmunds com and my dealer's website inventory as well. I think I'll send them a note today… 🤨
This is a little old, but I finally got in touch with my dealer and he said my vehicle order showing up in the dealer inventory was a flaw in the Lincoln system. But he provided several screenshots showing that the vehicle has been tagged and is unavailable for sale. One view even had an enabled setting to 'hide from consumers' — which must not be working correctly.

Any further info on the "tagged and unavailable for sale" part? Seems kind of ominous.

Probably the reason my vehicle also shows up on the dealer's site and others. I did pay a deposit so that should okay.

I got this yesterday from my dealer when i inquired about where my vehicle might be.

Ordered on 6/7
Built 11/20
Said Shipped on 12/8

no updates of any kind from Lincoln since 12/8 Shipping notice.

I thought my vehicle was on the Platinum Ray(which left on 12/8), but that hit port already so clearly was not on that ship.

Sorry. I meant tagged for me, and unavailable for other salesmen to sell. It's mine to purchase.

That's Glovis Chorus, due 1/11. Shipped only means released by the factory for shipping.

Anybody in Hawaii order a Nautilus?

import info shows 9 x300 units; 1 x 6 units and 1x134 units. Also unloaded 1756 units for GM. It will be interesting to see if the vessel heads back to China or up the coast to Canada given that it unloaded less than 5000 vehicles but can carry as much as 7000.

Has anyone that had a vehicle unloaded at Portland, seen it move towards a dealer?

I think you should edit your post to remove the VIN. We can point you to resources but I don't think anyone wants to track individual VINS.

There you can enter your VIN and order number (get it from your dealer or call Lincoln and ask for it). That will tell you what status your vehicle is presently in. IF your car was built, it will tell you it was built and the build date. About 14 days (+/-) after the build date, it will "ship." After that, it will be another 10 days (+/-) to be put onto a vessel.

You can also ask your dealer for screenshots from "vinview" which will have status dates and other information.

Either way, if you provide these dates we can offer you more information about the process and where your car might be at the current time.

Yes. In the 2024 Nautilus Facebook Group (which I recommend to everyone) there was a post 17 hours ago with a screenshot showing three different rail transit updates.
