Any tips for using the Active guide effectively? I’m looking straight ahead and I keep getting the put your hands on the wheel alert. If I do that, I might as well steer the vehicle myself.

Just make sure you are in a “hands free” vs “hands on” section of road. I didnt pay close enough attention at first and that was my issue.

Finally my lincoln showed up and i dropped it off the same day for ceramic/3m treatment (with a heavy heart). Noticed a couple of things; there are no mats for 3rd row (carpet or mats).

Any suggestions where to get those from? Dealer doesnt seem to have any

Also looking at getting a OEM integrated dash cam but no luck as of yet. If anyone has any leads on this, please advise!

Would you have a part number by any chance?
I’m pretty sure this is it. I cant seem to find my receipt. If you have a center console in 2nd row there are instructions in trimming it. Thats what we did. I’ll keep looking for receipt to confirm.

If you out a weight on ur steering wheel, itll prevent the message.

How do you determine what section you’re in?
It will show on the little blue steering wheel that pops up. One will show hands still on the wheel (honestly it was hard to see for me while still driving haha) and the other actually says hands free (I think. My memory is failing me this morning). Otherwise they look very similar so at first its hard to figure out.

It is very obvious when you are in a hands free area. And, it is only going to be on limited access highways. This does not work driving around the city or suburbs.

So, on blue oval forum, someone pointed out that these are breadcrumbs. I went in to that feature in Driver Assistance and it was at Auto which I did not know was an option. I turned it off and the dots are gone.

Yes, breadcrumb mode helps you find your way back....

I turned them off. It was weird that they were only at my house pretty much.

Yeah, weird. I know Chicago has its share of problems under Mayor Squidface... ;)

Maybe it thinks where you live is "off road"... perhaps on a private road that is not on the navigation maps in the car.

Don't get me started lol.

No, very well established suburb with roads and electricity and stuff haha. I can see it being useful for that but I never take my $111k SUV off roading.

Hmmm.... I will note that when I put my home address into the Saved navigation points, the icon shown on the map for my home is actually about a half mile down the road from my true location. With regard to your breadcrumb issue, something similar may be happening... it may be that the car navigation system thinks you are elsewhere and not on a road.

Few things i noticed and wanted to ask rest of the folks:

1. I have a Reserve L. Whenever I unlock; I don't see the Lincoln logo projected on the floor, Is that only a BL thing or was it standard?
Does anyone know where to get that light and where does it go?

2. While adjusting my seats lumber support and all. I have noticed the UI is very weird in responsiveness. If i touch it once sometimes it switches it all off and sometimes it won't respond. I have to try multiple times to get to a spot where i like it.

Everything else works great besides this menu. Anyone else noticing these two things?

Hi fayez. Regarding #1: The side view mirrors must be folded in for the "Lincoln Welcome Mats" to illuminate. The feature must also be enabled in the Driver Information Center settings. If it is not working correctly, set up a service appointment to have it checked.

Regarding #2. If you feel there is a problem with the seat comfort settings, set up a service appointment and demonstrate the problem to the Service Advisor, before you hand them the keys and leave.

Keep us updated and good luck.
