2022 Navigator

Hmmm ... I ordered it because I do like the black roof, blacked out grille & side vents - I've had convertibles most of my adult life :) though I've never seen one in person and i'm not sure how glossy the black is.

In this photo of a 2021 it doesn't look too glossy:

This is the only 2022 photo I could find:

Which looks a bit more glossy, but I do like the wheels & sides vents more ... although compared to this:

I dunno ... this one looks more "trucky" ... so I'm not sure ... I do have it on my order but, if possible, I"m thinking about switching back after seeing these new photos.
Where did you find that bottom photo? That is my 2022 except mine will be an L.

Edit: Disregard. I found the pics on the Lincoln website. I think they are slowly adding to the 2022 info.

Invitation looks nice, but we have driven a lot of people, including someone last night, and the compliments are hard to move on from lol.

I think I would have considered Chalet if I wasn’t jumping out of my boat with fish blood on my shorts all summer. Ha.

Yes, good point haha!

I think if you are going to spend 100k on a vehicle, you pick it the way you want it. I have an aversion to black paint because of my ADD. The fine scratches drive my mind nuts.
I've been doing my own detailing for years so I usually don't have a problem with scratches, but it's work! Although given in the case of the SEP the black is on the top, it shoudn't be too bad.

I'm still on the fence with the special edition package though ... I wish I could see one in person

I've gone with the Chalet (which I'll protect with Colourlock) and I think it could make a good contrast with the black top.

FWIW, I had a convertible for 3 years with white leather that I jumped in every week trail dirty with my own blood and it was always easy to clean, but I do use leather protectant

Yep. Just ordered my 2022 earlier today. $108k. We opted for the L version this time, which adds $3200. Black Label.
Yes I think the L version is a very nice upgrade it rides alot smoother than my 2020 black label. My truck was 105,150 list so thats not too bad mine also has the lincoln play rear seat entertainment.

For what it's worth (according to the Blue Oval site), the following summarizes the Nav Scheduling history since the week of 12/6:

Week of 12/6 - Startup Scheduling
Week of 12/13 - Cleanup Scheduling
Week of 12/20 - No Scheduling
Week of 12/27 - No Scheduling
Week of 1/3 - Cleanup Scheduling
Week of 1/10 - No Scheduling

So it appears that they've not really gotten the line going in any meaningful way at this point. What would be nice is if Lincoln did not use the Mushroom philosophy on customers willing to pay ~$100K/pop to acquire their product. A little communication would go a long way.
I was on another Ford site and there was a person who works a KTP where the navigator is built and he said the navigators and expeditions have a very low priority on the build priority Ford is trying to get as many super duty trucks built as they can because there is a big demand for them and they have a much higher priority than Navigators. So expect delays in getting your vehicle built.

My new 2021 Black label L is the Destination theme my 2020 was the Chalet theme I really like the deep red mahogany color.
I like that and I also like the ebony/russett in the non-BL trims. Wife prefers Chalet.

That stinks.

Its the reason your being delayed so much there tying to build the vehicles that make the most money! The navigator although its 100,000 the volume is much lower than the super dutys.

I had read the Expy/Navs were very profitable as well. Guess not as much, however.

It’s the volume of trucks sold and the profit margin!

Do we even know if they have actually started building the navigators?
