I have a VIN but no scheduled build date.

I got the VIN from my salesman. Only email has been the one I got the day I placed the order.
I’m wondering if the massaging rear seats with console are holding it up for me?
My dealer here in IL says they are unaware of that being a delay. Mine has rear seat massage and console, too, and I have the build date in Feb.
I ordered at the end of November, maybe that’s why? I’m really in no hurry, lots of snow on the ground and towing my boat won’t be necessary until May.
Yes, I ordered October 28 on a higher priority and just got VIN last week. Probably get yours in the next week or so I would imagine.
You ordered from Apple Lincoln in MN right? I ordered on 12/23 and the rep im working with isnt super helpful. I never got an email from lincoln confirming order. I sent an email to the gm and they basically directed me back to the sales guy who said everything is good. I'm trying not to be an annoying asshole but shit, spend $100k on a vehicle you'd think there would be better communication from Lincoln, dealers, etc.

I had to repeatedly email my rep who was nice & patient, but it did take awhile:
I "ordered" at the beginning of Jan, but the VOC says the order was actually accepted last week and I got the email from Lincoln shortly after that. Getting the VOC wasn't easy, but eventually he sent me a copy.
Were I you, I would start escalating:
(1.) Call the Lincoln Concierge and see if they're aware of your order.
(2.) Let your dealer rep know without documentation in the form of a VOC and/or email from Lincoln you'll have to move on.
What I told my dealer/rep was that without documented confirmation of an order I was going to have to assume there wasn't one. Originally they had pointed me to the "not an invoice" document but I said I needed either a Lincoln VOC, email from Lincoln, or preferably both - and they did provide it. I'm sure this is a hassle for them, but nevertheless I'm wasn't going to move forward without documentation.
When I last asked my salesman, he said it wasn’t scheduled yet. Just trying to be patient. Hopefully, with a deposit I’ll be price protected.
Yes, I did order from Apple. I have initiated every conversation about the Nav with my salesman. Probably the same one you got.
I really wanted the black wheels on my BL. That’s the only thing I like about the SE. My preference isn’t the black roof.
Yeah I'm thinking I'll call Lincoln monday. I dont mean to be demanding but if Im not in que to get the vehicle then I need to know and Ill look at alternative options.
I’ve called and gotten no more than what the salesman told us.
Quite unfortunate looking.

Hmmm ... I ordered it because I do like the black roof, blacked out grille & side vents - I've had convertibles most of my adult life
though I've never seen one in person and i'm not sure how glossy the black is. In this photo of a 2021 it doesn't look too glossy:
This is the only 2022 photo I could find:
Which looks a bit more glossy, but I do like the wheels & sides vents more ... although compared to this:
I dunno ... this one looks more "trucky" ... so I'm not sure ... I do have it on my order but, if possible, I"m thinking about switching back after seeing these new photos.
