2020 Lincoln Aviator vibration

I have the same issue on a 2020 aviator grand touring. Noticed the issue brand new and still doing it at 2000 miles. It’s a rumble I can feel in the drivers seat but not in the passenger seat. Feels like a bumpy road or something from 35 to 52 mph. Dealer already force balanced all 4 tires but that didn’t seem to make a difference,

I GOT IT FIXED, TOOK SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND TELLING THEM OTHER PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS. THEY REPLACED THE DRIVESHAFT AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE DONE THE TRICK.
I have the same issue in my brand new Corsair. Cannot believe they would let a new car out the door in this condition

Same problem here, 2020 and just had all 4 tires replaced. Lincoln advertising “sanctuary“ but this has been my worst vehicle ever. Everything rattles and is not in the luxury category....

I have similar issues. wrote a thread on it. Vibration got worse over 2.5 months of ownership. after working with the dealership to document the changes. They proposed changing the driveshaft. Vehicle is in the shop now. It does seem the 2020 recall of Explorer and Aviator driveshafts should be expanded to more VINs because my vehicle was not in the recall and it absolutely had a monstrous vibration.

Driveshaft replaced and car is smooth now. Recommend you insist on vibration sensors on a test drive. I was also prepared if they pushed back to go to a 4 wheel Dino to prove it’s not road related, Another thing was a few jingle bells In the center console on a ride along. They‘ll sing and change tune like clockwork with the vehicle speed regardless of the road.

"Worst vehicle ever"?

I have the same problem on a 2021 Aviator. I switched Drive Mode to "Conserve" and it may have gone away. I'll have to run it for a little while to be sure and I am not sure what drive mode it was in before. As another post stated, I could only feel it in the driver's seat.

I took the vehicle out this morning and the vibration continued. On the way home with the engine warm, there was no vibration. I took it out again this afternoon cold and there was still no vibration. Hopefully, it won’t come back; maybe some kind of break-in issue?? I now have over 300 miles on the vehicle. I am also getting over 28mpg at a constant 55mph and it will get better after break-in.

Strange! My vibration disappeared a couple of days ago and hasn't come back.

It is mentioned in the Owner’s manual that car may have irregular behaviour for first 300 miles because of the tires. They need to break-in, apparently.

Thanks. That could explain it. Actually, the problem disappeared at around 250 miles.

I have noticed a similar vibration issue between 35-45mph. It doesn't happen all the time. I'm going to take it to the dealer along with a couple of other issues I am having. My driver side window auto up feature is not working. I tried resetting per instructions in the manual to no avail.

How many miles on your car?

There is a recall that I read about for the explorer and the aviator the motor mounts that was torqued properly. Something about a machine being broken during build and it was done by hand. If I remember correctly it is only on one side.

Just bought a 2021 Aviator - have this vibration and low rumble thing too. Replaced a tire but still feel it in the steering wheel and driver seat. Called my dealer and mentioned this drive shaft issue. Since it's a known 'thing' now, I'm hoping I don't get push back on this. It is frustrating to pay this amount of money and own a car I don't like driving.

I know this might sound silly but are you sure it isn't your lane departure warning?
