2020 Lincoln Aviator vibration

I am experiencing a vibration also. Is this the following link/video of what others are experiencing?
As the video shows, the sound seems to go away when park is engaged or I go at different speeds.

Google Photos

Is it a vibration or a ticking sound? Do you feel it in the gas/brake pedal?
I ask because I just had mine fixed, turns out the plastic vacuum line was rubbing on the drivers side CVaxle boot. I dont know if this was for all vehicles or just those with air ride?
If you take it in to have them look, the dealer will need to look at it with all the vehicle weight on the ground, as this issue can not be found with wheels off the ground.

I have a brand new 2022. Not sure if its what folks here are experiencing but in some variation it is. I don't experience vibration as much as I experience a shake at about 55 and over. Seems to be coming from the rear. They are on the 3rd set of tires and my vehicle only has 200miles. I took it back immediately at delivery one week ago and they don't know what's going on with it. I believe its got to be a moving part causing it, which means the only think left to check on mine is the drive shaft, which I suggested when I brought it in. It's just sitting there. I see that this thread has over 7k views. Seems like there's a bigger issue than they are wanting to admit.

You probably just need to get them to replace your drive shaft as it probably has a defect. I have a new 2022 with over 700 miles driven so far and mine is fine. if your dealership is not getting it fixed either open a case with concierge or take it to another dealership.

I've had two driveshafts changed. The vibration has shifted from 38 to 52 and is now causing a weird pressure imbalance that actually causes my right ear to hurt. It feels like a window is down and causing air pressure. No windows are down.

The vehicle has been in the shop for over a month at this point,

My vibration problem has appeared to be remedied. Through a corporate bulletin, the dealership replaced my catalytic converter. They said preasure at different speeds (35 - 50 mph) through the converter was causing the issue. So far after a week, all is good.

Is there a bulletin number or some reference number I can give my dealer?

rmoltzjr, is there a bulletin number or something I can provide to my service advisor. Would really like to get this resolved.

I just had to have the flex pipe replaced due to a loose shielding causing vibration and noise like a lawn mower on my 2020 GT

Any resolution to this issue? Just purchased a 2020 and my ears a hurting badly.

I would suggest taking it back to where you bought it and have them check it out and fix it if there is a defect.

I always had slight vibration but nothing terrible. I am a freak about tires and pressures, balances so was not either of those. I’ve replaced OEM garbage tires (Goodyears) and improved, then recently just replaced all brakes and rotors. Still early but I feel like my ride sfter rotors is even better than the new tires ride I had a couple months months ago. I think one or more of my rotors were warped. Possibly another issue to check depending in Aviator age ( then again, in the world of Aviator, age really shouldn’t be a limiting factor, LOL Anything can happen even to new cars 😊). FYI if helpful.

I have the EXACT same issues with my 2023 Lincoln Aviator Hybrid. Please reach out to me if your shop/dealer was able to resolve the issues. The pain in my ears is unbearable and the vibration is NOT normal. I have currently had the front axle replaced, a bearing replaced, a new driveshaft installed along with a shim kit and the problems have not been resolved.

No issues with my 2023 Reserve and unfortunately I doubt member moosic will respond. He was last seen here on Jan. 14, 2022. It's really frustrating when members don't post a follow-up to their issues.

Thanks for responding Peter. Needless to say, I’m extremely upset with the issues I’m having with this car without a resolution. Not at all what I expected for the amount I paid for this thing. I have a current ongoing case with Lincoln Concierge. They are following along and offering assistance to the dealerships that have been working on this car. I’m thinking if Moosic wasn’t able to get their issues fixed, then they may have gotten rid of the car - perhaps the reason they haven’t been active on here in a while. On the other hand, I’m happy to hear that you don’t have any issues with your Aviator! It is a hot looking car, no doubt about it, with some sweet power under the hood! Good luck with yours!

Have exact issue. (2023 Hybrid with about 3,000 miles on the clock). The dealer has tried a number of different fixes, none have worked so far. In some cases it has made the problem worse. The vehicle shakes/vibrates between 25 and 50 MPH,. Below or above that range, the problem is not noticeable. The plan next week is to replace the drive shaft, I'll let you know if it works. They did tell me this issue has the potential to cause problems over the longer term to other components, like the transmission.

Mine started vibrating around 65-75mph. The dealer said it was the insulation in the tire (Goodyear 22" rims) so they removed the insulation. Ride is fine now but more road noise is noticeable.

Which model of Goodyear tire do you have? I have heard of insulation issues with Perelli tires but not Goodyear,

Goodyear Eagle Touring 275/40R22. However, may Aviator was in a recall group from somewhere June 2023 to I think November 2023. The recall was due an issue with the backup camera failing thus making the reverse protection go inoperative. There is a chance it may have sat in Chicago for many months with no movement and caused the insulation to fail??
