I'm about to, within the next 30 days as my policy lapses. I don't like the software apps. I hate dealing with it when we have two (or even three) insured drivers in the same car.Has anyone installed a gps based car insurance monitor like "Drive & Save"? Has it caused any software issues in your 24 Nautilus?
Thanks for the reply. My wife had one in her previous vehicle and it reacted like you described. She only has 750 miles on her Nautilus with no issues so far, but all the reported software issues on this forum prompted me to ask the question, thanks again.I have USAA Safe Pilot that monitors trips, phone use for calls and handling, and harsh breaking. I see trips like Google with time and distance and get a summary after each trip of infractions. It does not appear to interact with car but based upon phone data. You get dinged for just touching like at a light to check something.
Can you tell us what the benefit is for installing USAA Safe Pilot?I have USAA Safe Pilot that monitors trips, phone use for calls and handling, and harsh breaking. For me it's 30% off my car insurance, so definitely not chump change. Can you tell us what the benefit is for installing USAA Safe Pilot?
If you sign up you get about 10% off and up to a total of 30% depending on your score. There is a training period then like after 3 months you get the additional depending on score and you have to start another scoring period. I am in the middle of 1st scoring period so will see later what it really means. Can you tell us what the benefit is for installing USAA Safe Pilot?
You might want to read the fine print on the agreement.... they could be selling your telemetry data for profit, like GM is getting sued for in Texas? If you sign up you get about 10% off and up to a total of 30% depending on your score. I wish mine was that good. It sat for about 36 hours and I measured 12.2V this morning. About 800 miles on it, so I doubt this battery is going to make it. I already charged it once, but so far has always started.Latest data with all battery CSPs applied. No interaction since start of test. The closest fob is about 15 to 20 ft away through a few walls.
There is no official state of charge charts as battery mfg dependent but most agree within 10%
12.7 fully charged
12.1 50%
11.51 10%
10.50 0%
9/5 - 12.6V (within 12 hrs of being fully charged), 90% SOC
9/6 - 12.51, no interaction in last 24 hrs, 80% SOC
9/7 - 12.46, no interaction in last 24 hrs, ~75% SOC
Not a Nautilus but in my Corsair and MKZ the Drive Safe and Save (DSS) is a stand alone button that connects to the car via Bluetooth. I've noticed no problems but have no idea how a problem would manifest.Has anyone installed a gps based car insurance monitor like "Drive & Save"? My wife did one through an app called Great Driver or something like that. I think we got it off the app store. I was surprised she got 98, but one thing is you could go through each drive on the app, see the red spots, and correct it to 'okay' if it had the wrong speed limit, or if it thought you sped through a school zone but it was an in service day.On Facebook, people have been reporting Lincoln Concierge is still been telling people 3Q. Has anyone here talked to them but bet they will not give a firm date?
Here is an update on USAA Safe Pilot. The phone app notified me I completed the scoring period with a score of 90 out of a 100. My discount will continue to be 10% during my next 6 month period., This is no where near the 30% supposedly possible. I had no phone use dings and only a few harsh brankings (mostly getting cut off). If anyone gets a higher score/discount, I would like to compare notes.
Recall 24C24 (window safety) was released September 9th. Just dropped my car at dealer to do that one along with 24P08 (driver monitor camera) and 24P22 (ABS). Hopefully the last 2 will help decrease the battery drain issues.@Starfish
Most AGM Battery charge charts list 100% around 12.7 to 13.0 V. Your charts look like how I expect a healthy battery to work. Voltages higher than 13V indicate charging. How long are your drives?
A noco charge voltage will reach 14.8 V for AGM batteries when battery is near max charge.
Someone else posted this chart but saved it since very clear.

I did not believe the 24C24 (window safety) code been released?
