2024 delivery schedule

Yes. In the 2024 Nautilus Facebook Group (which I recommend to everyone) there was a post 17 hours ago with a screenshot showing three different rail transit updates.
mine came to Portland on The Platinum Ray December 18. It is on the railway somewhere in the US My dealership has been absolutely no help, neither has my salesperson. The only reason I know it is on the railway is because I called Lincoln direct. My salesperson told me she doesn’t have time for vinview, i called the inventory guy (whom she said does this) and he has not returned my call.

I hear you. In the FB groups, a guy basically intimated we should stop doing all this detective work and seek out our dealer. He said that we weren't getting the info then we had a bad dealer. And I said that it's too late now. We already placed the order. And not all of us have many options. I don't want to drive an hour to a dealer.

So this group and the Facebook group has been very informative for most people. I would suggest joining that FB group and would expect a delivery date by the end of this month.

As far as the Lincoln app goes, it has been a bust for me. It never has indicated that the vehicle shipped, even though I know it's on the Glovis Chorus. In fact, the current status is "Order Confirmed". How helpful is that? I'd still be waiting for it to ship if I hadn't done some detective work.

I am on the Facebook group and I agree and have gotten most of my info from these 2 groups. If I could go to a different dealership I would, blows my mind that I cannot get any info from them . Is it laziness, incompertence or they just don't care? Maybe a combo.

Swindler, I'm new here and have been following this forum closely, especially the two tracking threads. I really appreciate what you all are doing. I just placed my order on 12/26/2023 so I am aware I have a ways to go before I can get ship info. My dealer said expect 4-6 months. Lincoln Customer Service said 8-10 weeks (built) but expect 13 weeks.

The reason I write is because I'm confused by your post. Where does the Lincoln app show "Shipped"? And where does it show status as "Order Confirmed"? When I go to the Lincoln Way app it is useless until I have a VIN.

Are you talking about the iPhone Lincoln Way app? If not, which app are you talking about? I went to the website "Lincoln Vehicle Order Tracking" I have the order number but it's useless until you have a VIN. Is there some other tracker?

I ask because when I ordered my Ford Escape there was a tracker I could log into with my order number and something else (senior moment) and it told me Order Confirmed. Then moved to Scheduled and Production and Shipped. Is there a website for Lincoln that I can get this info?

Appreciate your help.
Don

Yeah, sorry. I shouldn't call it an app. I was referring to Vehicle Order Tracking. Once your vehicle is scheduled for production, you'll get a VIN via an email like this. 1000005926.png
And you should be able to track the production process through to dealer prep. But mine stopped working in November.

You really have no visibility into the production process until it is scheduled for production. The 'Built Order Status' email they refer to, which provides a delivery estimate, I never received either. I'm not sure many have. I have no estimate of delivery other than what I guess.

No

No he is talking about the email confirming your order from Lincoln. It will look the 2 on the left and when click on the link at the bottom you go to the page on the right.

Okay, that is what I thought when you said that. Guess I'll get in the waiting line and wring my hands until the email ferry pulls my chain.

Will you be helping others once you have your Lincoln or will you disappear? That is what typically happens I've learned watching these forums for so long. Once your car arrives, you're too busy playing with the new toy and no time for forums.

I only ask because I was going to post when I do get info down the road.

Thanks again.

I will always try be around the forum for the discussions, I imagine. I might not be as active tracking ships, but I'm one who always likes to help those who need it.

I will caution you that I'm surviving a medical condition and disappeared from here twice for a week for separate hospital stays just since Thanksgiving. So my presence will be tenuous.

Best of luck, friend.

To you as well. Be safe and I'll say a prayer for you.

Yes, the people in both have been amazing and extremely helpful at every stage.

I don't have FB but my wife does. Can you tell me how to get to the FB page?
Go to facebook and do a search on Lincoln Nautilus 2024 and ask to join the group.

@SgtLip

I would also join the 2024 Nautilus Facebook Group.

Just so you know, the longest timeframe may be the shipping process. The ships are coming every two weeks we've been told +/-. Once on a ship it's about 20 days (again +/-) to the west coast. Then we're looking at another 30-45 days by rail/truck to the dealer. So my car "shipped" on 12/7 and I don't think it will arrive to the dealer until early March.

I would think many of us here Swindler, LARS, etc. would be open to helping out but mostly I think we will show you how to do the detective work. I don't plan to track vessels for everyone like I did mine.

Also, with respect to OUR cars, we had a bunch of people working together to figure things out. They provided enough puzzle pieces that we could do the sleuthing. For future stuff we'd need similar info.

Rest assured, however, that your dealer can actually tell you where your car is on their app called "vinview." If you force them to give you updates then you can have accurate info.

Thanks for all that and I appreciate the efforts everyone has expended.

Unfortunately I haven't seen too many posts that provided the info I need to access in order to track to the degree you all have. I have seen the references to VinView but that is a dealer tool that I wouldn't have access to unless I travel to the dealer an hour away to see a screen. I do have the "Track My Vehicle" website saved. But that's of no use until a VIN is assigned. That is confusing to me because I ordered a 23 Ford Escape and tracked my order online from the day it was ordered until it shipped. The VIN number was blank up until they actually assigned it. So I find it strange Lincoln doesn't have the same process. Unless Ford changed their process. I was tracking my Escape up until April 2023.

But I appreciate all the help. Thanks

The old vehicle visibility tracking system was retired in Feb. Vinview is all we get now aside from the very basic customer order tracker. You should call you dealer. You need the vin and order number to do anything.

Ordered 12/26. No VIN yet. I have the DORA so I have the Order Number.

It was Ford's Tracker that I used up until April. I initially had access to this before having the VIN. (see below)

@agogley and @Jacyte are right. For all the speculation and deduction we all did, in the rear view mirror we can tell you it boils down to this.
  1. Prior to getting the Production Scheduled email there is no visibility to your order. This was the hardest part for me because I had an order snafu and had no idea if my early order was still in place or it started over. Waiting was a bitch.
  2. After the Production Scheduled email, you can see the incremental steps of production up until it ships from the factory via Vehicle Order Tracking. If it works. Again, mine never has 'shipped'. Another helpful clue is when the status date updates again after it ships. This typically correlates to when the ship departed (or was boarded?). But for @TimCooper, this didn't seem to correlate.
  3. VinView is the best asset to use once it ships. It shows it's movement from the factory in Hangzhou to the port, across the ocean, onto the rail, and all the way to your dealer. The only alternative is assessing when your ship departed, correlating to a ship, and then tracking that via the many websites that offer basic ship tracking. I use MyShipTracking for location, but others for port activity.
I have to mention that when I spent all that time trying to figure out which ships could possibly be carrying our vehicles, I knew nothing of VinView and I had no idea it would offer such detailed location tracking. We weren't sure which ports would be used. We weren't even 100% sure they would be using RoRo ships. I was just looking for any ships that were leaving from a reasonable port on a direct or indirect path to Portland (which some dealers knew would be the import location). When @7.62Kolectr showed us a VinView map, all that research was really tossed. We could easily identify ships and track them.

So while it looked like a sequel to The DaVinci Code in the threads, it's really as straightforward as those three steps.

THANKS. Useful information. I appreciate you passing the knowledge down. I will use this to fall back on ONCE I get an email about Production.
