Welcome to the Forum. 👋
I ordered 10.31 and was able to find it was "in production" by calling Lincoln Customer Care listed on the Canadian site and providing the order and dealer numbers. However, I don't see a similar feature on the Lincoln.com site. Try and find a number for the Lincoln Concierge.

Call Ford Marketing, they have the best, most up-to-date information updated 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I called them just the other day to ask about the lack of email updates and the gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful. They'll need the dealer name and your order number.

Ford Marketing's phone number is 1-800-334-4375.

Hi: I’m a Canadian prospective buyer/leaseholder customer. Still, still waiting today, December 17 - for my 2023 Grand Touring hybrid to be delivered to the local Toronto dealer original scheduled for September - that I ordered back in April/May. I’m curious to hear from any other Canadian buyers/leasing customers if they’ve encountered such a delivery delay ? And if anyone has inside information about the exact reason, much appreciated. RBC
I live close to Toronto and I ordered the Aviator Grand Touring on 16 May 2022 and was promised delivery by October. We finally got a VIN in November and a production date of 23 January 2023. I was told that the delay was a result of the Chip shortage. Did you get a VIN and a production date?

Thanks for the advice.
By the way, is this website for Canadian? I noticed a lot of people here mentioned Canadian site. I'm new here

Lincoln has a site for Canada and also for the U.S. and all the info isn't always the same. Since I'm in Canada, I usually refer to that site when checking for my order. I haven't tried calling the number that swoop1156 provided but will the next time I'm looking for an update. I'm not in a rush since I still have many months left on my current lease.
Merry Christmas.

We come to Toronto often as my wife and her family are from near there and I have good friends at Eaton Centre.

Ordered our 2023 Aviator Reserve 1 201A Black with Black interior on April 4, 2022 with confirmation of the order on April 7, 2022. Since then nothing..... Getting fairly discouraged as we creep up on 8 months since we ordered. I saw the comment on the dealer allocation and am wondering if that is part of the problem.

These days, dealer allocation doesn't apply to customer orders. If your order is submitted as a verified customer order, it goes into the queue regardless of how much or how little allocation your dealer has. Possible things that could be holding up your order: 1) Resource constraints. Did you order anything special (such as full middle row console)? If not, then this shouldn't be the cause of the extended delay. 2) Your dealer has a large number of pending Aviator orders and has prioritized other orders ahead of yours. This seems unlikely, but it's worth checking on. 3) The order has been cancelled without anybody informing you. You received a confirmation email, so I would hope that you'd be notified if the order was cancelled, but I don't know what happens in such a case.

When was the last time you spoke with the dealer about your order? Have you ever called Lincoln Concierge to ask them about it?

So yes we ordered the full center console. If that’s an issue I would prefer to get a call so that we could decide to change that.
The dealership we ordered it through is smaller and we would have been the first aviator ordered. We are a priory 10 they told us.
We talked to the concierge a couple of months ago to help us get the order number for the vehicle. Might be time to contact them again. I’m just concerned that we’ve had no updates of potential build dates and that means we are at least 2-3 months out.

Welcome to the Forum and Merry Christmas. 👋
The order number is shown on the copy of the order that the dealer may have given you. I have both the order number and dealer code showing on mine and those numbers should be all that Lincoln needs to track down your vehicle's status.

I wonder if the GT trims get a lower priority due to the number of parts/chips required and therefore are taking longer to complete production?
My Aviator Reserve ordered at the end of October was the customary dealer Code 10.

Peter
My order is priority 19. Just now learning that this is a very low priority (lowest).

Hi BL. It is nothing to lose sleep over. Dealer assigned Priority codes (10-19) do not make that much of a difference. Especially now.

The Priority codes that do make a difference are Ford Corporate/Regional Headquarters Priority codes below 10. And those are only for special situations.

Good luck.

I seen this done for the 22 Navigator and thought I would do the same for the MY23 Aviator. (Sorry if this has been done already and I missed it, if that's the case, point me in that direction!)

I will update the thread for each major milestone (VIN # available, scheduled for production, window sticker available, vehicle control options visible in Lincoln App, build completed, vehicle shipped, delivered, and picked up)

If you anyone has any MY23 Aviator's on order, post your timelines below so we can help each other out and gauge the progress of these vehicles. Current Job 1 production is set for 6/27 per most recent Fleet Bulletin.

Update 11/29 Scheduled production date changed to 2/20/23

This is very interesting, and disheartening. I ordered my Aviator Reserve on 10/29. I have yet to receive an email directly from Lincoln, but concierge confirmed this week it is ”In Progress,” but no scheduled production date yet after almost 2 months. So, I take it based on the above that at the EARLIEST, mine would be built in March...

The Reserve seems to come faster than the Grand Touring. I ordered a Grand Touring in May and it is scheduled for delivery 21 Feb. I received the VIN in November.

Keep in mind that JeepAddict added the Dynamic Handling option to his order. That alone may delay it.

Interesting…I intentionally do not have Dynamic Handling because I’ve had so many issues with air suspension on my Volvo XC90 (I realize different mfr). I just went through a 13 month ordering process on a C8 Corvette. While long, the communication from the dealer was relatively good and Corvette concierge was able to tell me exactly where I was in the process by status code (which sat at 1100 for 11 months). For the price point, I’m just a little surprised that Lincoln / Ford doesn’t have a system of connecting with the consumer. I fully acknowledge impatience, but the communication and the original timelines aren‘t lining up. For me it’s compounded by an April delivery doesn’t work for me as my SUVs go away in April when the convertible season begins…so I might as well wait for a ‘24.

Thank you for this information. I’m going to try calling ford Marketing this week as I am at nearly 90 days post order (9/30) and absolutely no movement on my GT beyond order confirmed. Getting really frustrated.
