MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

Thank you for this information. I’m going to try calling ford Marketing this week as I am at nearly 90 days post order (9/30) and absolutely no movement on my GT beyond order confirmed. Getting really frustrated.

I think you should be prepared for another 4+ months before it actually ships.

Pretty sobering. I’m driving a 2004 Honda accord that’s on its last leg and my 2010 Range Rover’s engine is gone. So I’m definitely in need of my Aviator.

I hope I'm wrong but it has been mentioned here several times that the GT/GTBL take longer to reach the end of production than the Reserve models due to the features that come with the higher trim. The chip shortage is impacting all manufacturing across the board.

There’s a gentleman on here who ordered his GT early September and has a production date. Roughly 12 weeks post order. So I definitely hoped to have a production date this week. But so far, still nothing.

I ordered a BL-GT late July, VIN about 8 weeks later, and a build date 8-10 weeks after that. Car is done. Currently waiting to be put on a train, but factory is closed for 2 weeks. I think it would have arrived this week actually.

I've spent several years in DMV bouncing between agencies in my younger years. I'm retired now to the mountains of Tennessee where the pace is a bit slower, and although I miss the hustle and bustle of the DMV and all that it has to offer, I definitely don't miss the rat race! We visit often as we have family still in the area.

I called Lincoln concierge this evening; no updates but offered to connect me to the dealership in VA. My salesman and i had a very frank discussion about my disappointment regarding the Lack of movement. He then told me it looked like corporate moved me to priority 01- mind I was priority 19 initially. He said that my elevated priority means I’m on the next production batch and as others here said Lincoln closed on Dec 14 due to holiday. He also said production schedules are updated every Thursday. Fleet manager then said he’s certain I will be on production in January and they will check the schedule every Thursday. Now more waiting.

That's great news, if there was any to get! Wish we could get moved up a bit, we'd definitely appreciate that! My wife's Audi is tired! Schedules are indeed updated Thursdays. I may give the Lincoln Concierge a call beginning of the year and see what's what as well, although we only ordered in November if I recall correctly. May have been October. So definitely nothing compared to your wait.

Ok, how did you manage that? I too have called Lincoln concierge and my priority has not changed, though you have been waiting a little longer. my order went in a month after yours.

I’m not sure how my priority code was changed. I never requested it and concierge didn’t tell me I’d been reprioritized. It was news to me.

Those of us who’ve ordered GTs are just waiting longer which is very frustrating.
