MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

Exact same scenario for me. Ordered 10/25, originally scheduled for early Jan., just got an email bumping it to next week.
Ok, this is curious to me. I ordered late October and I’ve heard nothing Other than an introduction email. When did you get your production email originally?

My order went in on October 31st. I have not received any info on it from Lincoln or my salesman but I'm not surprised since the bottom part of the order copy I have that shows the customer information is blank. As mentioned before, at the time there was no leasing option available so it wasn't possible to determine a cost. It may have gone in as a dealer order with a contract price to be determined when it arrives. I did, however, find out from the Lincoln concierge that it is showing as "In production". Used the Order number and dealer sales code to get that. Not in any hurry to get it.

How did you reach Lincoln Conceirge?

How did you reach Lincoln Conceirge?
In my case, I went to the Lincoln Canada website and selected "Lincoln Customer Care" from the selections at bottom of the page. I just assumed it may have been the conceirge as he was able to get me the info I was after.

Just got another email from Lincoln... Your new Lincoln is now scheduled to be built the week of January 30, 2023.

Pushed back from January 13, 2023.
Pushed back again.

Now scheduled to be built the week of February 6, 2023

Just saw that on my order too. Actually don’t mind this as I learned you cannot permanently disable Auto Start Stop. I would rather not have this feature.

The feature (as with many) can be disabled with a simple device and free software from FORSCAN.

I ordered the FORSCAN modem device off the internet (range in price from ~20 and up). I then went to the FORSCAN website. After about 15 minutes, I was comfortable with what to do. In perhaps 3 minutes time I had hooked up the device (connected to my laptop), sent the code to disable the auto Start Stop and was done. I unplugged the connection, tested, and it worked just as it should. Very simple. My wife and I no longer have that distraction.

Update on my order. Reserve pkg 201A with Jet, Luxery, Illumination and tow packages. Black with Black interior.

Ordered 9/27
10/27 received email with build date of 12/19
A few days later received a build date of 11/7
Window sticker available mid the week of 11/07
11/13 blend date listed on the window sticker
11/17 order updated to Built and noted they are awaiting a ship date!! (I didn’t get an email on 11/17, but checked my status online)
I just checked my order status online and my Aviator is in final prep!

It moved to ship status in 11/18, on 11/19 I was given an arrival date between 12/7 and 12/13. My dealer said it was put on a rail car on 11/19. I’m in the Minneapolis area.

Here’s hoping the dealer turns it around quickly!

Nice, except for the light Gray headliner and a/b/c posts. I had ordered black interior too and was under the impression I'll get all black, and ended up with this light coloured headliner myself. Glad it's the wife's car, cause it would drive me nuts.

Anyone else had their status in Production since Nov 19?

Anyone else had their status in Production since Nov 19?

I think mine has been “in production” by the website for 2 weeks now with a Blend date on window sticker of 12/09, which has passed.

No changes since.

Believe there were a few others with build week of Dec. 5th, we got a communication about supply chain blah, blah .. we will communicate every 45 days. Anyone else get the same?

Same, build week of 12/5 and an offer to communicate updates every month and a half. I was thinking about cancelling and waiting for a 2024.

While we are not taking delivery of the 2023 Aviator we ordered in October, I still get updates on the vehicle ordered. As off this week, it had a blend date of 12/9 and I received the same email today about supply chain shortages, blah, blah blah. The dealer said I will continue to get updates even though I will not be buying the one on order.

We ended up buying a 2023 Aviator out of state and having it shipped to us and so far so good (2020 Aviator was returned on a lemon law in Oct).

I have considered doing the same. Ordered in late October and have yet to receive an update.

There is a good chance that the 2024 Aviator will be built in China. The Aviator EV is supposed to be manufactured in Canada's Oakville, ON plant along with the Explorer EV.

I read that article to say that 2024 Aviators destined for China will be built in China. ICE and PHEV Aviators for North America would presumably still be built in Chicago.

Both the Aviator and Explorer EV's seem to be destined to be built in Ford's Oakville, Ontario plant which is being retooled for EV production. ICE Aviator and Explorer likely to remain in Chicago.
