I have one, and I love it. If I understand, it was a stock piece with my ’03 Cartier. Judging by the wheels, the ’04 car in the pictures is probably an Ultimate, which was the top-of-the-line model for that year. So it may have come with it, too.

My 2003 Cartier

I found one of those optional Lincoln 2003-2011 trunk organizers on Ebay a few months ago and grabbed it. It fits my 2009 Town Car perfectly and is very useful.

The one in my '03 is like that. There is another type that the lid folds sideways. I don't know if it came standard on my '03 Limited (which is essentially a Cartier with some cosmetic differences), or if it was an option. I have a LOT of stuff in my trunk. I am basically using the organizer as a false floor so I don't have to lean over so far to put heavy stuff in/out. If I ever need the jack (I have AAA, so nah), or the 12v air compressor, or the air mattress, or the spare shotgun shells, or whatever else is in the bin under the flap, it is going to take quite an effort to get to it.

Heh heh, if I had one (I prefer wood and steel), it would be in the front passenger seat! And BTW, I've been told that a 1911 will fit in the center console.

Love the longhorns! Is it just sitting there or actually mounted? I have considered doing something similar for when I drive my car to Cowboy shooting matches.
