Finally got my Goodyear white walls tires for the latest 2010 Sig LTD!! What a fiasco it was trying land these. Now that they’re on, the car looks so much better then it did with the useless black wall tires. Blah. Brightens the whole car right up!! The ride is better with these tires then with the Travelstar white walls too, by the way. 235/60/17 Eagle LS.

My Lincoln
2004 lincoln town car
One of these photos commemorates me changing the headlight bulb. Another shows my new whitewalls installed and the 3 other ones were a few days after I had purchased the car. It's a white, 2004 signature. Regular wheelbase. 18 years old, 213k miles, seldom has any problems and runs well for its age!

I don't currently have a Town Car. I'm actively looking for one though. This is a picture of my last one. 1993 Executive Series with Mustang GT wheels and Lincoln center caps.

My last one was a 96 with the same color and boxier profile. To me, the 1990-1997 2nd gen models were the absolute best looking of them all and if you were fortunate to have one that was navy blue or black with swanky wire wheel covers and whitewalls, you looked gangster!

Thanks. Yes, when it was time for new tires, I thought about finally having whitewalls on my car as I wanted a car with whitewalls for years. The long body style with the luxury wheels and hubcaps made me envision that they'd look swanky on the vehicle. So, I researched them but sadly, in the stock wheel size I have, theres only 1 type for sale (radials for safety) online that isnt bespoke: the travel star Un106 9mm whitewall.

Found them initially on Coker for north of $100.00 per tire but decided it was too expensive. Found the exact same ones online at walmart.com last year and only paid $77.00 per tire brand new.

The tires arent perfect being cheaper, the rubber is a bit less well put together and the first thousand miles or so, the car was more bouncy and rough than usual. But now it's fine. Keeping them clean as new isnt always simple. But yes, I just wish they had ones on the market that were 3/4 or 1" instead of just 9mm. They'd pop more from a distance!
