Vehicle Prices 2021/2022

Wow, that's great, thank you! I am trying to get my wife on board for a 2022 Nav. I'm in the Chicago area as well.

Hi BL. Just a heads up: I'm not sure what the buyback contingencies were, so if this is the replacement vehicle for your buyback, check with your Dealer or Lincoln contact to be sure you can use an X-Plan PIN for the new purchase.

Good luck.

No, that one is just paying the difference in MSRPs. Wife is actually interested in a new one for her. A dual Navigator family perhaps.

Absolutely worth it. It would be her who would balk at that price, not me, necessarily. Being in the Chicago burbs, finding dealer stock or ordering new would be no issue.

Actually, she wants to pay cash, so is willing to wait until Spring and order a 2022.
Fair oaks lincoln in Naperville is not adding anything into sticker. I got a 21 yesterday.

I'm getting Xplan on my Corsair Grand Touring and it's about $1500+ savings plus some of the other fees are reduced or eliminated....I think I will save about $1800. Dealer said that those Plans are the only discount they offer and respect. EVERYONE else pays full MSRP. Ford same way when I tried to order a Mach-E.

A good indication is the largest Lincoln dealer in the country. Northpark Lincoln always has a tremendous selection of new Lincolns. They are located in San Antonio , Texas . All dealers pay the same price for vehicles from Lincoln. I would contact them.

I paid MSRP for a Reserve L on Monday from Joe Rizza Lincoln in Orland Park, IL - I had to ask for it. They did give me the A-Plan incentive for financing with Ford/Lincoln Credit that is going on now which is $4,995.

Yep, one can buy a Lincoln from anywhere these days.

So if you use this incentive can you immediately refinance a month later with someone else that has a lower interest rate?

I just called them and they said they would honor the X-plan discount for a build. I am awaiting an email with their pricing on my requested specs. Thanks for the lead, we will see if they can beat my local dealer that will not honor the plan and just pay the shipping from Texas if the numbers make sense

That's a good question. I don't know and would assume yes. I can't find anything in the paperwork that addresses this.

I paid MSRP. I did get $500 off through Costco. Woohoo. I recently read that we can expect this from here on out. What started out as supply and demand is morphing into sell then build.

I wonder how this pricing might shift some buyers to restoring older vehicles. New tech is cool, but vintage can be just as cool if not cooler. A cleverly restored vehicle could be worthwhile. Not all, but some older vehicles have a good supply of parts in the after market. For example, several muscle cars can be built 100% new from a parts catalog. This is true for many trucks as well. A hundred grand can build a very good and very cool vintage vehicle. It's something some might ponder.

Anyone wanting X Plan... you can get it for $25 by Joining the Mustang Club of America. I did in 2018 and saved almost $6k.
However I doubt whether (m)any dealers will be offering X Plan on 22 Navis while supply is so limited .

My Ford/Lincoln dealer is getting MSRP for every car these days and they told me the only discount is the XYZ plans like I am using. It's about $1800 in total savings off MSRP for my Plan deal on a 2022 Corsair GT. Less on lesser priced vehicles. Back in 2008 when I used the plan on my Ford Sport Trac Adrenalin I got $4,000 off as the regular incentive from Ford then got $2500 off with the XPLan. I did very well on that deal.

Good point but most people won't do that. Most will keep their used cars longer instead. Tesla started this idea of no haggle but GM tried long ago and failed. Most young people today won't haggle and hate all that mess. They want to order online and be done with it all.

I know I do! It's not just for the haggling, there's really no point in having dealers; everyone would be better served if customers had a direct relationship with the manufacturer ... and yes Geo tried this but it didn't work, although that was a different time when supply chains weren't so truly global, but also adaptable; and customer information and connection wasn't immediately available. Now it is.

These days it's wholly feasible for a manufacturer to create a concept car - i.e, kickstarter - and then make them. This same thing is happening in the luxury watch world: with the exception of Rolex, the manufacturers are taking back the customer relationship and shutting down the authorized dealers.

Why shouldn't Lincoln turn their dealerships into manufacturer showrooms and customer service centers? Why do we need 3rd party in the middle of the transaction?
