The New Lincoln Continental Picture Thread

Gonna bring in to fix the rattle?

Action

A few pics to get started. I'll add more soon. I've tinted the windows and panoramic roof a darker Limo tint. I've tinted the taillights and reflectors. I also added StopTech vented / slotted rotors and carbon ceramic pads, and painted the calipers black with the Black Label Lincoln star logo. It's also Livernois tuned, and has a streaming bos connected that plays almost all video streaming services, as well as Tidal MQA Premium audio tracks, and even games. Oh, and I have Diamond Espresso leather floor mats on the way.

Nice, Nick.

I would like to see somebody do something with those stupid blanks in the front bumper under the headlights.

Agreed. It would be nice to open them up and create cold air intakes to the turbos (like exotic cars have), or at least channel the cold air towards the brakes to cool them under heavy braking. It would look better. What was Lincoln thinking by having those there? They aren't used on any trim as far as I know.

Hard to see, but these are the custom painted calipers with Black Label logo.

Nice to see them both welcome me when I approach. It'll be sad when the MKZ is turned in.

Nice ride! I have to admit the digital plate is a new concept to me. But then, it does not seem to be accepted in my State anyway. It seems expensive; besides being ultra-cool how do you justify it? In other words, what are the benefits? The website is a bit sketchy.

It auto renews each year. I'll never have to visit a DMV or forget to replace the sticker. Plus I got it on a Cyber Monday special, so it wasn't that expensive. Also, I can customize it. The color (dark or light), message at the bottom, and some custom themes are available. Plus if my car is stolen I hit a button in the app and the listen plate will alert everyone "This Car is Stolen", and it has GPS to tell the cops where it is. It requires a special tool to remove (think wheel locks), so you can't just rip it off. Finally, it can display custom messages like Amber Alerts for kidnapped children. Every car will have one of these eventually, I'm just an early adopter (and often beta tester).

Thanks, Nic. Here, we don't have stickers nor do we visit the DMV. You are definitely ahead of the curve, though, and I respect that and agree it is the future. But for now, I probably will be sticking to <<<<<<<<<<<< in tin. The Lincoln Way always tells me where the car is now.

2020 Reserve 2.7 TT, AWD, 20” Rims. Picked it up last Saturday during the snow storm in SE Wisconsin. I’ve driven it to the grocery store and work and back 3 times. I really hope it’s nice this weekend so I can spend some time exploring it.View attachment 15982View attachment 15983View attachment 15984View attachment 15985

Hi AaronZ. I'm not usually a fan of aftermarket/add-on trim, but those pieces do look nice. 🤗

Good luck. 🍻
