Show Us Your Lincoln(s)

1977 Lincoln. I'm the 3rd owner and new to the Lincoln family. 91,597 miles on the Odometer. 460ci.

Acquired in September 2020. It's all original and will remain as such. However, it is in great need of some refurbishing just from normal wear and tear coupled with neglect. After the spring weather arrives, that refurbishing will begin. I'm just starting to investigate information and component sources.

In dire need of Radio Antenna Repair [stuck extended], Fuel Gauge Repair [non-responsive] and Exhaust replacement [rusted out]. All other needed items are trivial.

hi , heres my 83 in progress ..full custom.TikTok please excuse the video , cheap phone lol

This is my project car. Stored indoors for 30 years, zero rust. Just a terrible paint job. Runs well, seems it might have either a slight misfire or bad spark in one cylinder. Tranny slips from time to time. This is getting repainted flat black, and fully restored inside. I have attached a single pic of the black paint process so far. 1971 Mark III with 91,299 Miles.

My 79 Mark V Cartier Edition, I'm the third owner and second owner only had it like a year. Currently working on replacing the engine, current one went up in flames on the ride home after buying it, no compression on most cylinders.

I learned to drive around 1986 in a Mark V that my grandmother had, was a stock Cartier if I remember correctly. Buying this has been a great trip down memory lane.

New here to the forums. Here’s my 1972 Mark IV in light yellow gold. Bought via a facetime walk around and soon to be in transit to it’s new home here in TX. 21000 original miles. It’s got a couple of what look to be aftermarket accessories , such as hood mounted turn signal markers and an outside mount temp gage, on the drivers side cowl. It’s also got a real cow catcher of a front bumperette duo, with bumper guards on the back to match. I’m not bothered by either, but I would like to know of anybody else has these other A/M gizmos. Otherwise this car is bone stock the only changes being a new alternator and A/C refrigerant conversion. The car is essentially a one owner car< passed on from father to son until I just bought it. I have not had a vintage car in many years, my last being a 75 Dart , but prior to that I’ve had a 57 series 40 Buick Special ( my first car ) a 67 Firebird, a 68 Barracuda, a 69 Camaro vert”, a 72 Coronet, and a 65 Corvair Monza vert’. All of those were daily drivers. This 72 Mark is going to be just a weekender, or short runs about town.

Looks great! My mom had a 1972 Mark IV just like that, except it was light blue with white interior. It was a fantastic car, I loved it.

Take good care of it!

Edit: I've collected a number of Lincoln promotional items over the years. This one is specific to the Mark IV, and is one of my favorites.IMG_2393.webpIMG_2394.webp

I will! The car is a belated 60th b-day gift and a flash back to my early days driving in the late 70s. I’ve driven small fuel injected 4s for years, so caring for a bigblock v8 with a carburetor is a learning curve for sure. gas lead replacement additives etc.
