This recall notice was in my online account this morning. I don't yet see it in my phone app. My car is an early 2024 model. Black Label. The fix is not yet available.

It also applies to '25s, I'm showing it too:
Pedestrian alert system software update
Recall Incomplete, remedy not yet available

Campaign/NHTSA# 25SA2/AWAITING
Issue Date 2025-10-09
Description
Due to the quiet operation of hybrid vehicles at low speeds, the pedestrian alert system creates a subtle sound to alert pedestrians. On your vehicle, pedestrian alert sound may not be generated in certain instances. A pedestrian sounder fault service now warning message will also appear on the instrument panel cluster. This is due to a software issue in the audio control module acm.
Safety Risk
When a pedestrian alert system fault occurs, pedestrians may not hear an approaching vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash with a pedestrian
Remedy
Software is not available. Ford Motor Company is working to provide software for this repair. When the remedy becomes available, Ford Motor Company will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge. The remedy is anticipated to be available fourth quarter of 2025

I got it also. Do all of you still have recall 24C43 listed on the website? It shows that also as 'fix not available'. I thought that one was closed out by disabling the feature.

Hi swindler. No, disabling the Global Close function (24C43) was/is only intended as a temporary, band-aid fix (for safety purposes), until a proper programming update can return full and safe Global Open/Close function again.

In other words … Currently, another update is being sought, which will return full Global Open/Close function.

Good luck.

No, for me, that recall no longer shows. The new pedestrian one is the only one showing.

Thanks, that was my question. I thought most others had some update done that erased this one. That's why I was surprised to see it saying 'not available yet'. I think it was available earlier this year.

It first appeared in February. We haven't been to the dealer since.
