Update. I spoke with my rep on Monday and he assured me that there is no remedy for the recall at this time. @Xarax I would strongly suggest that you check that service report before charging. I might also consider looking for another service writer.I just checked the app and it still shows remedy not available. I will be calling my service rep tomorrow. I am really frustrated by owning a PHEV with the Plug-In part working.
I also called Lincoln today who gave me the same "2nd quarter" speech. I grumbled about the inconvenience and expense. The concierge rep commiserated with me and even shared that her father has a Lincoln PHEV and is equally unhappy. That said, all that she offered was to help me expedite the scheduling of the software update when it becomes available. When Chrysler was having this problem, they were giving their unhappy customers gas cards. You had to complain, but at least they were authorized to offer something.
Open letter to Lincoln, "how about treating us as well as Chrysler treats their minivan customers?"
