- My Lincoln
- 2021 Lincoln Corsair Iced Mocha Sandstone Reserve 2.3L AWD Sport and Adaptive Suspension
While watching some video reviews of the Corsair I noticed that in a couple of them, one could see what looked like a cubby or some type of holder or small bin in the forward center console under the stack at the very front. One video, I believe an official Lincoln promo video, also showed someone putting their phone in it which really intrigued me since I don't like where the wireless charger is because it (rightly) makes your phone so inaccessible when charging.
So I started looking into it further and found that it could rarely be seen even in 2020 videos, and never could I see it in 2021 or later videos. When looking at my 2021, I could feel what had to be some slots for the bin in my console so I figured if I could find the actual part, it would slide right in. After some digging, I found the following breakdown of the center console:

The part (in green) is LJ7Z-78045G74-AA and Ford refers to it as "Tray Package Center" which isn't the best description. The drawing lacks detail, but it turns out it is exactly what I could see in a couple of the 2020 videos.
At any rate, I was able to finally find it in stock direct from Ford after having two previous orders from other sellers canceled due to being out of stock. Here is what it looks like installed in my Corsair:

It slides right into the slots and is totally secure. It is completely out of the way and doesn't affect the rest of the storage area really at all nor does it get in the way of the sliding door. It is nice to free up the cupholders and use this new bin as a spot for my phone. It holds it at the perfect angle and won't scratch the phone as it's the same soft velvety material as all the internal storage in the Corsair.
It's not cheap, though! In fact, it's priced about four times what it should be, as most places are asking around $60 for it, assuming you can find it in stock.
Interestingly, most sites list it as fitting 2020 and 2021 models, so I wonder if the slots were removed from 2022 and newer models. If any 2022 owners could check and report back, that would be helpful for those interested.
It would also be interesting to see who has it and what their build dates and trim levels are. I find it odd that it apparently wasn't included in all 2020 builds. And since I haven't seen it in any 2021 or later models. it appears to be another example of the de-contenting that Lincoln did between 2020 and 2021.
