Nope ! If you look at the rubber inserts already in the cup holder they have a smaller circle in them. They fit in there so there is an opening around the inserts for the ambient lighting. I have mine lit up I think it’s teal and the inserts look amazing

I agree, and I was going to say something similar, and add that the car's screen is bigger, and easier to see maps on than a cell phone.

Multitasking? With the new hands free mode, I'd claim some phone use is "legal" while on hands free. Does the car support split screen as in native navigation on half and car play on the other half?

What is this new "Hands free mode" you speak of? I've not heard about this.

On my Nautilus at least, Sync 4 supports split screen where CarPlay is on the left side and Sync Navigation, Audio, and Climate are on the right. Or you can have CarPlay in full screen (no split). You'll like it in your new 23 Corsair, whether or not the screen is big e to support full screen CarPlay.

It's a really good idea, and of course Lincoln should have included it in all Corsairs, (let the owners decided if they want to use it) but we all know why they didn't. If I had a use for it, I would have bought between the time @BrianUsher posted it and now, but I have no use for it, as I always have my phone in my pocket using an Android Auto wireless dongle. Never even use the uselessly located wireless charger.

I have that bin in my 2021 center console as well. In fact, in all the videos I've watched, I've always seen that bin in the center console. Odd that they'd include that in all Corsairs but not the just as useful (IMHO) phone one that I started this thread about.

No, there are two and they are not interchangeable. The one in the center console by the wireless charger, which seems to be included in all models and years, is quite a bit larger than the rarely seen one under the sliding door below the center stack.

Just looked at my 2022 standard/almost reserve lol. The cutouts are there by the sliding door. But I use a vent phone holder for my phone so I can do stuff stuck in NY traffic lol

It’s a solid mount and I put Alien double sided tape behind tabs for added stability and to take any weight off the vents. Been rock solid for me.

I would buy that phone holder but I find myself sitting in hours of traffic checking email, messages and watching the forum lol. Doesn’t look like you can access the phone with that. Mebe I could put my Millions in there lol

"them" LOL. I didn't recognize the difference in the Lincoln Stars. Shame on me. I missed the link in post #13, but due to your help, I have ordered what they said was the "last one". As I mentioned, I wanted the ones that said LINCOLN as well as the star. Arriving Wed. (No "next day Prime" )
