MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

Picking up tomorrow - pretty much 4 months to the day from ordering. Timeline:

12/01/22 - Ordered GT
01/12/23 - Email with VIN and scheduled for production, estimated to begin the week of 03/13/23
01/17/23 - Email updating production schedule to week of 03/06/23
02/21/23 - System updated status to "in production"
02/23/23 - Window sticker published w/ blend date of 03/10/23
03/16/23 - Email indicating supply chain challenges / update within 45 days
03/20/23 - System updates status to "built"
03/21/23 - Email indicating GT has been built. Estimate for delivery between March 21st and March 27th
03/23/23 - Email indicating GT has shipped
03/24/23 - Call from Dealer indicating GT has arrived. Made arrangements for window tinting before I pick up
03/29/23 - Window tint complete, GT ready to pick up
03/30/23 - Pickup day!

Damn looks really great in black maybe I should have went with that instead of the green . Guess I’ll find out tween April 5-11th

I'd love to see the green in person myself. I considered it when I was thinking of ordering a new one.

I saw one at dealer it’s actually darker than you’d think almost looks black. I was a little disappointed the pictures make it look lighter. All depends on how light hits it I guess

I was leaning towards Flight Blue, but they had something else on the lot that color. It was very nice, but not "BLUE" enough for me. I've had many blue cars, probably my favorite, that isn't bold enough or pretty enough for me. I LOVE the Burgundy Velvet as well, probably my favorite of what I've seen in person. I'd also be ALL OVER Blue Diamond if I ever saw one I think.

If you like washing it every day, then black's your colour.

it's fairly dark, but I think looks better in person then the Build and Price images make it look.

Yes it was inside the dealership looked black perhaps it’ll look different outside in the light

Just received an email stating our Aviator is BUILT and should arrive to the dealership between March 26 - April 1.

03-30-2023 - Car in driveway!

Got the notification email regarding shipping about 12 weeks ago. Called last week and they said they'd let us know when our car arrived. They called us yesterday and we went today to sign all the paperwork.

One of the doors has a scratch (I barely could see it), so they're going to repaint the door. The dealer rep said if it was a resale, they'd just touch it up; but brand = brand new paint! So far, so good.

I'd be very careful with a repaint depending on the color. They rarely ever match 'correctly' and if it was a scratch that's barely noticeable, perhaps some correction, sanding, and ceramic will be better than an entire repaint. Just food for thought; definitely do what's best for you guys!

Congratulations. Now you can add 2023 Grand Touring to the "My Lincoln" field of your profile so it shows in the margin so members will know what you have.

Picked up my GT this afternoon - so far, so good!

The seats do take some patience to get right, and are slightly high for my 6'3" tastes - but overall I'm starting to get comfortable with it.

Although the 2023 will be Silver Radiance, I've had more compliments on my Ceramic Pearl than any other colour I've had before.

Has anyone from Canada tried the Vehicle Tracker link on page 11 and received a Window Sticker? I tried it and it came back with the following;This "This vehicle is not part of this market"

You must enter your VIN after the "vin=" before hitting "enter".

In my case, going by info previously provided by the dealer, the Blend Date of 120230403 (April 3rd) is the 'Build Week'. My actual Build Date is April 5th according to the dealer's printout.

Update: moved to Production 3/20
Window sticker released morning of 3/22 with blend date listed as 3/27.

Update: actual production began on blend date 3/27
Built status 3/30

Now I’m just waiting on email with estimated dates for shipment to dealer!

After speaking with the concierge I called the dealer. The dealer said he was on the phone for 2 hours with Lincoln trying to expedite shipment. The next day I got a call it was going to be delivered around the 2nd of April. The tracking site has not indicated shipped. We have a Reserve (with running boards), ordered on 9/2/22, blended on 12/22/23 that was built on 2/22/23 and no idea when we’re taking delivery. It’s pretty frustrating to see Aviators with blend dates well after ours being delivered to our dealer while ours sits in Michigan. Sorry to rant!
