MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

........................................................................
In January dealer tried to get update but couldn’t. At some point since then the priority changed to a “2” as of 3/11/23.
Dealer has had other cars ordered after mine with sane options come in. Only difference was color and interior.

.........................................................................
If your priority was changed to a "2" then something must have happened along the way for them to assign an expedited priority order number.

Anyone having a problem viewing their window sticker I just tried to view mine and now it’s saying the window sticker hasn’t been released yet for this vehicle. It’s been there prolly for 3 weeks no all a sudden it’s gone?

That isn't unusual. It will be back.

Hi Anakin. Most likely a temporary glitch on the website. It happens once in a while.

Good luck.

Website updated for me last night, but still says "in production" (build week 3/10, blend date 3/10). However, dealership says it is done and they expect it to arrive next Tues.

Congrats. My BLGT production hasn't slid from April 6 yet. Fingers crosses

Ordered an Aviator Reserve with Running Boards, Elements Package Plus and Lincoln Co-Pilot 360Plus 1.5 in Ceramic Pearl and Ebony Roast Interior. Ordered on September 2, 2022. On December 6 Lincoln e-mailed it was scheduled for production on December 12, 2022. On December 22 Lincoln advised that supply chain issues pushed back production. In January we received a call it would be in the dealership by the end of the month. Then the Dealer called and said Mid-February. That passed. On February 22, 2023 Lincoln e-mail that it was built and would be delivered between March 11 and March 17. Our dealer says its still at the factory. A call to the concierge says it has not shipped. This is our first Lincoln. I hope its a great car because thus far I have been very disappointed in the customer service and information from Lincoln.

A colleague had a BMW ordered, built in SC, and shipped in six weeks. I guess BMW's don't use chips.

Hopefully this means that they are really chugging forward on the GTs.

I've tried my best to not be negative here on this forum, but I agree 1000%.

Now I have to admit that I grew up w/ a dad who only bought Fords. All through the 1980s-90s he drove Crown Vics. My mom drove other crappy Fords. I hated Fords. I hated most American-made cars. When the Mazda 929 came out, my dad liked it. I begged him to test drive one (I was one of the mouthy teens who thought it was necessary to give my opinion). While none of this has anything to do w/ waiting for our Aviator; IMO the level of customer service from American auto dealers are inferior to the Acuras, Infinitis, etc.

From the start of this, we placed the order in mid August 2022 and the "sales" rep waited for 3 weeks to submit the order. And his overall demeanor during the sales process was off. I've never encountered a sales person who appeared to zero sense of urgency.

Hopefully this means that they are really chugging forward on the GTs.
Haven’t received any emails, but just got off the phone with the concierge they were able to get me the information that the vehicle is built. The dealership just called me and said it’s on the rail that should be here by the end of March so let’s see hopefully by the end of March I don’t understand why I never received any emails from Lincoln stating that it was built and shipped, definitely communication has been a massive problem

I had the dealer tell me it was on a train, then it wasn't. As one point it was built in Chicago, then was om a train in Michigan (not sure how that's on the way to Jersey) and then it was back in Chicago. I HOPE you are getting a straight answer. I'd hate to see your dark side.

Lol I see what you did there

Well, despite the "in production" status my GT has been in for a couple of weeks with a 3/10 blend date and the "it's done, we expect it next week" call from the dealership 2 days ago, got the dreaded "supply chain constraints / we'll update you in 45 days" email from Lincoln today... so color me confused.

Same thing happened with us. Ours was scheduled for production the week of December 12, 2022 and on December 22nd we got the supply chain e-mail (Merry Christmas!). They updated us on February 5, 2023 saying it was still delayed. On February 22, 2023 Lincoln e-mailed it was built. At various times our salesman said it was scheduled to be delivered because he had a tracker. Sorry to see it wasn't just our order where this multi-party gaslighting is happening. I'd tell you to be patient but mine's pretty much exhausted.

Hopefully you get you car soon!

Hi Peter. That does not mean updates/progress won't occur sooner. They simply are promising to update every 45 days maximum, for those who are registered for updates. Even if there is no change.
It is simply the standard promised update time period during this entire mess.

Does that mean they always provide an update within 45 days, even though promised to? Eh...sometimes not, and I can't speak to that. But that is what the verbiage means.

Good luck.
