My 2024 Nautilus has no wifi nor does it have google services

When I activated Phone As a Key, I had neither WiFi or AT&T Hotspot activated. Just Bluetooth.

I believe the car and the phone both have to be web connected for phone as key activation. It has to generate and download the authentication key from Ford. There is necessary communication to the Ford network.

I’m the one in Dubai

I got the app on my phone, but when entering the car to sync, nothing happens as the car doesn’t have Lincoln way.

On another hand, I have to possibility to connect to wifi. As I leave in an apartment it’s tricky, but will try at a friends house soon.

When i get in the car I’ll check if I have a modem serial number.

The explanation of the dealer was that as the app can track, it is banned. Which is not true as Jaguar (same dealer - Al Tayer) or BMW propose such app and its working fine.

Fordpass being unavailable as well, the best explanation is that they didn’t get the licence or coverage for GCC / Middle East.

Hello,

Al Tayer distributes Jaguar as well, and they have an app, as well as over the air updates.

Not sure how, but sometimes it says update available, and next time you start the car it says update completed. So it does work.

I gave up, too many back and forth for a little inconvenience at the end.

But please update us if you get it to work, I’ll do the same.

Same issue with my Nautilus too.. It doesnt have playstore and any apps. I downloaded the US app and its says vehicle belongs to fleet so can not activate.

Any suggestions

Hi,
I am trying to find one more feature to change the animation of front LED. For me its setup as complete light with no animation (example dripping into lincoln logo). Any idea how to achieve it.

Hi Gvaibhav, I also recently purchased a nautilus and though I love the drive and comfort of the vehicle, find it quite frustrating that I am not able to download apps from the plat store or even connect an external android boxs like the carlinkkit to get android apps functionality. Pls let me know if you have luck with that.

I am in uae too and have the same problem, i think the only solution is to complain and add pressure on the agency here in uae till they solve it, as its working fine in range rover and jaguar.

Dealer is not aware why it does not work. Has anyone cracked on how to get the google services working on GCC purchased cars. Please help

I managed to install some apps like google map and play store, but cant use them due to no internet connection. Even if i connect the car to my phone hotspot the internet not working.
