MSFT Sync 4.4 download file

SGilbert, I have a 2011 Ford Flex Sync 1 3.2, touch screen with voice command and nav. Ford website says I need to update to 4.6 through dealer, dealer can't do it. I tried before but it said not enough space. Can you send me an update and how to fix the space issue. Thank you SOOOOO much! Also, will this automatically update the maps or do I need to do that as well. And BTW, thank you sooooo much for doing this for so long for all of us!

The 4.6 I'll send you in a bit SHOULD work on your Flex; it's a sister to the MKT.

I have absolutely no idea how to fix the space issue. POSSIBLY, you have pictures and music taking up too much room. Can't help further.
This system update has nothing to do with maps. You will have to do that with a DVD set available through the mfgr.; ebay has them also.

I haven't had my MKT for almost 3 years, so I can't remember how to delete files, pics, & music---if, BIG IF, that is even your problem.
If you wish 4.4.1, let me know, but 4.6 has been sent to your eMail

I have the 4.4.1 update for my 2011 MKT Sync1 if you think it will work on your 2011 Navigator.
4.4.1 came after 4.4, but before 4.6 which is the newest you can get.
I also believe I have 4.6.
If you want either or both, I can send to you via WeTransfer which can handle very large files. I will need an eMail address to do so.

Hello hopefully I'm not too late to the party but I was also looking for Gen 1 4.4 or 4.6. I have a 2012 Escape and am stuck on 3.2.2 and would really like to get to a version of sync where I can set the default audio to either bluetooth or usb instead of the dreaded line in.

4.4 would be fantastic if you have it.

I only have versions 4.4.1 and 4.6; both for original Sync (Sync 1, if you will). It was in the '10, '11, & '12.
Sync 2 & 3 came in '13 and after.

Question: Is there a newer version of the software that I can install that supports CarPlay because I cannot seem to get it to bring up CarPlay?

Hi Brian M. Williams. No, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were not available in your earlier version of SYNC.

There is no newer version directly available from Lincoln/Ford which would enable Apple CarPlay and/or Android Auto for your vehicle.

You would need to purchase and install the newer SYNC 3 hardware/software/programming, which was installed in subsequent model years of SYNC 3 and allowed for CarPlay and AA via cable connection.

I’m sure others will also jump in to help, so keep us updated and good luck.

The Lincoln dealer told me I would just need to install a new usb hub. Is that not correct??
