• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1998 Town Car" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1998 Town Car" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Help us to keep helping you... Your support is essential to our survival...

Thank you for considering to support our Lincoln owner and enthusiast community. As the busiest Lincoln web site online, there's a great deal of responsibility that comes with keeping the site up and running at all times. This also costs a great deal of time and money on an on-going basis. The only way we can continue to exist is through the financial support of our supporting members.

Just a quick reminder that while most of the forum communities out there have been acquired and are now run by one of two multi-million dollar corporations, I operate Lincoln Forums dot com alone. Your support is greatly appreciated...

LincolnForums.com is here to help improve your Lincoln ownership experience by lowering your maintenance expenses and allowing you to spend less time under the hood of your car and more time with your family and loved-ones.
If we've helped you, then please, help us with a site supporter account today. For as little as $1.66 per month, you can help us achieve our goals, which in turn, can help you achieve yours. There are several inexpensive options with perks to say, "Thank you for your support!" ).

- Less or No network ads depending on level of support! This means a cleaner interface and faster page loading! (Authorized Vendor ads display for everyone) [-- This means if you decide to advertise with us directly, everyone can see your ad.]
- You'll receive a SITE SUPPORTER badge beneath your username in all of your posted messages.
- And last but not least, you'll help a wonderful community stay on top of server and software updates, upgrades, spam, customer service - and more to continue flourishing!

Commend you, Thank you. I can't log in with my regular ID & password. My browser remembers the password etc and installs it. Thus what could go wrong? I sure don't know. Anyway want to connect again. Can I use my same password or must I change it. Any way for you to just unlock me and for me to use what I have always had for password etc.?

I'm new to the site. I have a 2016 MKX black label suv I love. I purchased used in 2019. The dashboard pleather separated and I'm trying to find a solution. I never noticed it until shortly after when I noticed it bubbling. The dealership quoted me 12k to repair it; insane. Your direction would be appreciated.

New to forum. Can't find directions or instructions how to do things such as to adding a Signature, how to post a photo or anything. Is there a location for with that type of information?

Adding photo -
At the bottom of all new posts in the lower left corner is "Attached Files", Click that, and a window opens that you can attach anything you have on your puter.

Signature and other options -
In the upper right of any screen is your user icon.
Click that, and your account options open up with multiple options.

Good luck.

Hi, folks! Thought I would ask here how to begin conversations with individual members? Wanting to reach out to a specific person for a specific question.

This site is seemingly laid out similarly to another forum I'm a member of (in the sports realm, not automotive-related) and starting conversations is a choice next to "follow" and "ignore." I see an envelope icon on my little toolbar but can't seem to find where/how to start one. Any advice will be appreciated mightily!

You need, I think, 15 posts or so to do that.

Hold your pointer onto their Photo/Logo and a drop down opens. At the bottom of drop down it has "Start Conversation"

For example, hold pointer onto my Duck photo.

Thanks! I tried hovering over your duck and others' logos just like I tried before posting this, and it's the same thing. I don't see any other choices next to "follow" and "ignore." It might be true you have to have X number of posts, like the previous poster says. I guess I'll start typing random comments so I can test that theory.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and to the Lincoln brand, but I've been a very active member of other automotive forums for 20 years now. I've seen that a couple of my posts indicate that they are invisible to other users because they're under Administrator review, and new thread that I started disappeared, presumably for the same reason. But I'm not sure if I did something wrong, or if it's just some sort of new member thing. I always try to follow the rules when I'm in someone else's house! Can anyone help me understand? Thanks.

You didn't do anything wrong. For some odd reason the messages went into auto-moderation. Since they were both the same message I approved one and deleted the other. You're all set. :)

I cannot find a sub-forum for this question so I'll try here.
The Nautilus/MKX sub forum is now full of questions about the 2024 which is an entirely new vehicle. I wonder if a sub forum to separate 2024 discussion from 2023 and earlier discussion could be set up?
And yes, this should have been proposed maybe a year ago. But I'll ask now anyway.

Just post a new thread in that Nautilus/MKX forum

I access the forums through a bookmark to "New Posts". Which shows all the new posts and what forum they are in. So even if I just look at the Nautilus/MKX posts, they are almost all going to be about the 24. If 23 and previous had a separate forum, then it would be easy to spot them. (Even if there aren't many any more.)

That would be nice in a lot of forums.
Make designations based on generation. (First and second for Nautilus.)
And separate technical/mechanical topics away from sales topics.
However, all of the forums are set up the same.
Everything in a single forum.

Look at Navigator. Four generations in one forum.
Add the two generations of MKX to Nautilus and there are 4 generations in one forum as well.

We do not have a choice in the matter. Well at least I don't.

I am wanting to change “My Lincoln” from 2023 Aviator to 2023 Aviator BLGT PHEV. Can someone show me how to do this?
