Customer Satisfaction Program 24B54 - Certain 2024 Model Year Nautilus - Update Infotainment Software

Update was done on my Nautilus while in shop for brake rotor update. I did not know this update was done, I didn't ask since I wasn't experiencing any of the issues mentioned in this thread. I have to say that my dealer has really been great for me. Only issue I noticed was that the side mirrors didn't fold on lock. I toggled the switch on and off and they have been working for the last four days. I do think my 48" screen is a little dimmer on full brightness but nothing that affects the view to me. I will look around to see if anything else has changed but so for I haven't noticed anything.

Looking at the paperwork I noticed that the update is listed as 24B54B-3.3. Anyone else have the 3.3 or maybe some other version listed on paperwork?
You've probably seen this, but SSM 53099 talks about the mirrors not folding back after the update. The only remedy listed is to turn the setting off and back on. But, it does say you have to do that with each profile, in case it matters for you.

We are almost at the end of 4Q2024 and no one has reported any updates to fix the easy entry/exit issue (was delayed from 3Q). It is also hard to tell from owners that did not get 24B54 update that they have received all the updates OTA.

My Nauti has been parked since 12/19 and had the charger until a couple days ago. The online app does not show any update since then - does not seem to be phoning home. I am expecting a remote features disabled notice in a day or so due to no use.

My Hybrid is used every day driving approximately 45 kilometres. The last week I am getting the disabled features notification on my app. I have also noticed that both the large dash screen as well as the touch screen are very slow to boot up when starting the car. Happens almost each time.

I also am wondering where the next OTA update is. While I have never had any battery issues I decided to put the battery tender on my 2024 Nautilus hybrid last night. Before I did the voltage was 12.3 and the Noco report less than 75% charged. This morning it is 100% charged (pulsing green) and measures 13.96 volts.
What is the thinking on OTA updates, will not happen unless the battery is > 70%, correct. I wish app would tell us what we have and what's next. Just saying your up to date is not good enough as I don't really trust they are forthcoming with info

Someone posted on Facebook posted an image of their vent adjustment screen after the software update. Mine is in dark colors and smaller icons for on body/off body.

Anyone have this?

How can you tell if the update has been installed? I see reference to an in-app notification, but mine just refers to: "NAUTILUS Lincoln Enhance Software Updates" and then gives directions to activate from the car.

I have had my car at the dealer twice since I got it in September for software updates. After the last update in early December, some of the issues I was having improved (lock icon on B-pillar works better, connectivity works maybe 30% of time instead of almost never, lights don't go out as much, etc.) My app still shows the 24B54 under CSP.

My connectivity features (apps, streaming, Google Maps, etc.} rarely work, remote start by app usually doesn't work, the trip computer often doesn't work, the outside temperature sometimes doesn't display, voice commands rarely work, steering wheel does not move up for easy exit and drivers seat "bucks" when turning off the car, cabin interior lights often don't work, sometimes the center screen stays frozen on Lincoln logo after turning on or stays blank, auto hold disables at random times.

I have been a loyal Ford and Lincoln customer for over twenty years, but I am so disgusted with this vehicle. Our local dealer was recently bought out by some people from out of town, and it's very difficult to get them to take these issues seriously. Usually, they don't even call back (except when I gave them a bad score on a survey, and they called constantly because "it made them look bad."}

Our 2024 Nautilus is currently in the shop for 3 updates, possibly 4, as well as routing oil/tire service.

Updates are the big infotainment update, the recall notice window sensor, and one that addresses a camera that might cause battery drain. That last one was shown on the service sheet as a potential cause of battery drain.

They said the infotainment update could be up to 4 hours.

I’ll report back when we get the car back and see how it behaves.

24C43 (2nd window pinch recall) is supposed to be officially announced to dealers tomorrow. They won't acknowledge it until then, but you should still get it.

Swindler, Our dealer sent us a letter and called us back in October regarding the need to come in for software updates as part of a recall. I think the (first?) window pinch issue was one of the recalls. So maybe that was for the first window pinch recall, and we may or may not get the 2nd recall or revised recall update today.

Thanks for mentioning that there is a second window pinch recall. I’ll ask about it when we pick it up.

That was 24C24 in October. There's a second one being announced to dealers tomorrow and letters mailing out to customers starting Monday.

I have a different problem but related in that it involves Sirius radio verbal commands. Anytime I try to change the Sirius channel verbally, the system says it is doing it but the channel never changes. Extremely frustrating and I was wondering if anyone else has this issue?
Actually the same things happens to me. I thought it was working because when I issue the command, Sirius Xm comes on. But it comes on to the last station you had up. Since I usually listen to the same station, I thought it was working. When I try to change to a different station using a verbal command, it no longer works.

We had a total of 4 updates. ABS update which the sheet states is a possible battery drain, Infotainment, window pinch, and camera monitor, which is listed also as a possible battery drain.

I’m lucky we have a decent dealer with an excellent service dept. I trust.

4 updates, oil change, tire rotation, full inspection cost was zero. We did buy the service package, but still amazed to see it actually works.

Swindler, so these window pinch updates don’t come OTA? Dealer service only?

Correct. I think the OTA update process is limited to certain modules within the system. Some updates can be done by a mobile service, but not all. Does it say which campaign your window pinch update was?

Btw- I had the ABS update done in August and the camera update in June. Have you not been in for service before?

The service sheet doesn’t have the recall numbers but a few letters and numbers next to the service. I can go look if it helps.

Since my wife got the car in April, this is the first time we took it in for any service. So other than 2 sleep modes, and some infotainment resets, we have been “trouble free.” (Knocks wood)

Today for the first time since the update, I experienced the side mirrors not folding when the car is locked. I know others experienced this right away after the update. My update happened more than two months ago.
The gremlins of this car really can drive you nuts. I unset and reset the side mirror settings and the last time I locked the side mirrors did fold. Will see how it goes from here.

I don’t know if this was discussed or confirmed by anyone, but did this infotainment update add any cool features or was it just bug fixes? We haven’t really gone thoroughly through the features, and even if we did, any new features might not be readily noticeable.

We've been scheduled for this update (and other items) for February 24th — the earliest they could get us a loaner. 😕

Yes. You can now toggle the engine temp gauge in the 48" display on and off.

Lol….wow. They really went all out. I thought at least they would add more widgets or customization.
