2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Just for fun, I was searching large dealers to see if any actually claimed to have a 2023 Corsair in stock. There were none that I found. However, I found a dealer near Philadelphia that claims you can order a Corsair and they will guarantee it will arrive within 16 weeks. If it doesn't they will give you an additional $1000 off the price. I wonder how they can do that or if Lincoln is directly backing that guarantee; that seems an awfully big financial risk for an individual dealer given the rocky start to the 2023 Corsairs.

I've not recently attempted to confirm since none of them are GT but at least two dealers in the Dallas area have listings without the In Transit tag, Implying they may actually be on their lots.

We got notified our Corsair was built on May 1. The tracking site claims it is going to be delivered at the dealer between May 17 and May 23. With how this order has been terribly handled, I would not count on that, but hopefully it will arrive by the end of June.

...Ford built 2,513 2023 Lincoln Corsair crossovers last month, bringing its year-to-date total to 3,038 units, which is a massive improvement, indeed. In April of last year, The Blue Oval sold 2,855 Corsairs, meaning that production seems to be getting back on track, though it’s worth noting that it still trails the Escape by a significant margin, as the automaker produced 12,805 units of that mainstream model last month.

In any event, this marks a big turnaround for the luxurious crossover after Ford paused both Escape and Corsair production in February after discovering a quality issue that we later learned was software-related, and that shutdown was eventually extended all the way into March. Turns out, the problem was traced back to the instrument cluster, and a re-flash corrected it, allowing The Blue Oval to resume production with no further issues...

Fingers crossed but projected delivery to my dealer in MN is set for May 23-28. My order was for a GT Package III and all options. Ill update the spreadsheet but thought I would drop this positive news as maybe others are seeing movement as well.

I ordered my 2023 corsair GT in January and I was told told not to expect delivery until October or November 🤨

It takes 20-25 days for shipping? Is it coming via stagecoach? That's insane! o_O

wont be suprise that they want to fill maximum on the train :)

Hi Denis. Short story...That is exactly what they do. Vehicles waiting for shipment are held in storage yards until the transport cars are filled according to schedule. To do otherwise would be cost ineffective and raise vehicle prices.
