Hi gang. This information/advice I am going to state has been mentioned before, so let me state upfront that I am not minimizing the stress this wait puts on many of us, and I also realize it does not specifically help anyone with their wait, it just hopefully puts things into context:
The 2023 Corsair did not begin production until late December/early January (the exact date is sort of in flux). And when production began, Lincoln/ Ford policy is that no customer orders are produced until there are a set number of production days with ZERO errors, mistakes, problems etc.
Those early production vehicles are held back and mistakes corrected before they go to Dealers as stock/inventory vehicles.
So that means even under the best of circumstances, production of actual customer orders would not have begun until approximately mid-January.
If all went well. Which means even the earliest customer placed factory orders may just be being produced and shipped to Dealerships about now or shortly.
Fortunately/unfortunately, the Order Banks open long before production begins (for all vehicles, not only the Corsair). It is a necessity. So while some of us may have placed orders back in September/October etc...those dates are irrelevant when it comes to wait time, since production was nowhere near beginning for the 2023 model.
To make a loose analogy, it would be like sending our Christmas list to Santa in September, then complaining when we are not getting anything until December 25th. Again, it is a loose analogy that I hope is also somewhat amusing, so be gentle.

Again, I am not minimizing the stress this is putting on many of us. I am simply trying to give the entire situation some overlooked context.
EDIT- And I forgot to add...There is no excuse for Dealerships not keeping their customers updated as best they can. Unfortunately, this is an industry wide problem, and has more to with the individual salesperson/Dealership and training. Lincoln provides them with far more information than most of you seem to be receiving from them. Unfortunately.
I hope everyone will get their orders soon and good luck.
