2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Today's notification from Lincoln informs me that my build week is now April 17. My next update is scheduled for March 27... so my build week will probably change yet again. *sigh*

Member suggesting Corsair's titled as 2024 seems more realistic.

I'm just plain worried about these software fixes. Ford just plain does not hire the best person available anymore.

Has there been any official communication from Lincoln about the delays? I mean aside from the weekly build date bumps. Seems strange that they wouldn't reach out with a "Hey, you're probably wondering why we keep pushing your build date" email. It's very frustrating to have to search auto industry blogs for updates instead of hearing directly from the source.

Overall, I've always liked their Products. Their communication is for 💩

Oh boy, I would be tearing out my hair but if this was my car order I would have no hair on my head and I would be pulling leg hairs, arm hairs and other short hairs until I am hair free. HA! Hang in there, my friend. It's hard to not get disappointed with each delay. It's really a shame that this vehicle being so popular that they did not plan ahead and open a second line for this. Ridiculous lack of flexibility and planning ahead for volume.

I think we need to start a Lincoln Corsair 2023 Go Fund Me page and raise $10k to award the first recipient who gets their Corsair this year out of contributors to this site. That would encourage wishful waiting, less nail biting, less sleepless nights, less arguing with the spouse over nitpick items, less angry calls to the dealer who never calls back even if there is a sale involved because who needs commissions, and much more REM sleep patterns dreaming of that gorgeous hunk of ever loving metal/plastic/engines/motors/wires/lights/fluids/rubber/etc.

I have an email with my estimated build date and can track it on the Lincoln site. But, the site info just list the order date and last updated date. I’ve seen people say they can look up their production date online. Where do I go to see that info?

Same tracking site. When in production that info will appear.

Hi questa. You will not be able to see a "production date" until "production" of your vehicle has begun. While there can be/are glitches in the Tracking site, if you do not see a production date, it will usually be because it has not begun "production".

Hope that makes sense and good luck.

Does anybody know if LAP is actually up and running now?

My guess no
I agree. It's likely either "no" or "slow" for Louisville Assembly.

Last night, my wife received another e-mail message from Lincoln to announce their 11th production delay for her 2023 Corsair Reserve.

Specifically, production date slipped from week of April 10th to week of April 17th.

Have not received my official delay email, but I'm sure it's coming

It's all hands on deck for the software fix..... Not enough headcount to keep up with emails for all the postponed build dates.
so the plant is up and running then?

I don't think so. When the first customer Corsair comes off the line I'm thinking there will be a media event. Nothing big. Maybe just in the Louisville papers. Just an opinion.

Are there not any Louisville plant workers following our frustration here that could verify if they are back to work yet? Please speak up.
