2023 Corsair orders, build dates

So did anyone hear if they started up today ?
I was listening with my hearing aids turned up full, but unfortunately I couldn't hear from where I live 😁

Little bird shared Corsair / Escape production now scheduled for March 13th

If someone knows different please share.

There is nothing on Ford Authority or any other source that I can find. But I can't find any evidence one way or the other. If nobody has received new build week emails it would help confirm but in absence if that, I'd assume the assembly line went back into action. 🤞

Edit: Any more delays and they'll have to tag them as '24s. 😀

Hope my next email indicates in production.

We will see.

Sorry. Not good news to report here. My wife just received another e-mail message from Lincoln to announce the production date for her 2023 Corsair Reserve has slipped another two weeks. This is the tenth production delay since placing the order last September. For the record, here's the whole story thus far:

21-Sep-2022: Order placed at local Lincoln dealership
21-Sep-2022: Order confirmation received from Lincoln
17-Nov-2022: Scheduled for production week of 09-Jan-2023
17-Nov-2022: VIN assigned: 5LMCJ2DA1PULxxxxx
21-Nov-2022: Priority Code changed from 19 to 02 by Lincoln
21-Nov-2022: Subwoofer delete confirmed; $250 price reduction
10-Jan-2023: Production delayed until week of 23-Jan-2023
17-Jan-2023: Production delayed (again) until week of 06-Feb-2023
25-Jan-2023: Production delayed (again) until week of 13-Feb-2023
02-Feb-2023: Production not scheduled (de-scheduled) per Lincoln online tracking
03-Feb-2023: Production delayed (again) until week of 21-Feb-2023
09-Feb-2023: Production delayed until week of 27-Feb-2023 (order-tracking website)
11-Feb-2023: Production delayed until week of 01-Mar-2023 (order-tracking website)
15-Feb-2023: Production not scheduled (de-scheduled) per Lincoln online tracking
21-Feb-2023: Production delayed until week of 20-Mar-2023 (e-mail notification)
28-Feb-2023: Production delayed until week of 27-Mar-2023 (e-mail notification)
07-Mar-2023: Production delayed until week of 10-Apr-2023 (e-mail notification)

I feel like Lincoln should make some kind of good will effort for the people that keep
Getting delayed. Maybe like a $500 gift card or an extended maintenance plan. Just seems like the right thing to do !

Four days into production??????????? Any news? Nothing new on Ford Authority. We need a spy in the plant. 🕵️‍♂️

Hi DD. I agree. And towards that end, I would recommend those who are waiting call Lincoln Concierge and politely express their frustration with the long wait. See what they may offer. And if they don't offer anything yet, ask if they can offer some sort of compensation.

Lincoln Concierge may inform us that they have to wait after until we have our vehicle to do so, which is reasonable. However, once that occurs, they do have a lot of leeway in the compensation they can offer. So see what they say and offer.
As an example, even if they can not offer rebates/gift cards, they can (and have) offered LincolnProtect ESP Plans (as you stated), and Maintenance Plans etc.

It would not hurt to ask. And if they can't do anything now, they may be able to do something once our vehicles are delivered. So ask again later, if necessary.

Good luck. 🍻

Took a look at my build and track vehicle link. My information indicates last update March 1, 2023. Build week of March 27, 2023. Today though the latest update is still March 1, 2023 yet on the little buttons up top now reads March 30, 2023. No email received just changed from one day to the next.

Does anyone have any insight what happend?? Maybe a precursor to a new email getting pushed back, maybe scheduling in place and planned production date is the 30th.

I have never ordered a vehicle with the build and track function before so really have no idea if theses type of changes mean anything.

Idk does anyone know if the plant reopened and the people back to work ? Hasn’t been any chatter about it.

Seems to be the best kept secret. No matter what inquires are input the only Internet answer(s) are that it was closed until March 2023 and that it opened in 1955 🫤

Was that the whirl, hum, clang, whine, zing sounds coming from the assembly line in Louisville or am I just hearing hopefully ghost sounds in my head?

My build and track has filled in the production week again. Further out, no surprise.
I get the feeling it means nothing until vehicles actually start coming off the line and delivered to dealers. I thinking Ford may make a little media story when that happens.

I'm guessing whoever is working on the software issues keeps changing their completion date. Fix one item 2 more pop up.

I'm in the group that wants it correct before vehicle gets to the dealer. Not 3 return trips to the dealer in order to patch things.

Hopefully everyone who has a Corsair ordered get theirs in a timely fashion. Possibly with this shutdown Ford is able to build some inventory of parts required for the GT model. Sure that would make many happy.
I'm with you- I would rather wait for it to get done correctly than to have to keep returning the car to the dealer. I HOPE I don't end up waiting a long time and then STILL have to keep returning to the dealership.

Agree my own personal vehicle is a 2010 F150. Been remarkably trouble free with the exception of blend doors. Notorious on F150's.

I have never turned the sync on. Have no use. Has never had an update ever. Not looking forward to doing things on a screen.

For what it's worth (and for those who are keeping track), my build week was supposed to be February 27 (today) — today's notification from Lincoln informed me that my build week is now April 10. I'm scheduled to get my next update on March 13.

So there.
Today's notification from Lincoln: my build week is now April 17. Next update is March 27... so my build week will probably change yet again. *sigh*
