2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Hi Toddsusan. To protect yourself...Have you already told the Dealer/Salesperson you are using an X-Plan PIN? Did they write up the purchase as an X-Plan sale?

Accepting X-Plan sales are up to Dealer discretion. So be sure you have a written purchase agreement from the Dealer clearly stating that the sale is an X-Plan sale, with the X-Plan pricing clearly stated. And get this done before your vehicle arrives, so you are not under pressure at the last minute, with your brand new, shiny Corsair beckoning you to sign the papers and take her home. ;)

Let us know how you make out and good luck. 🍻
Excellent point. I called last month to see if they would take the xplan and they said "yes", but I will go there in person to have it written into the contract. Thanks.

latest update. ordered 10/29. first build date was 2/20, then 3/14 now 3/28 (for now).Screenshot 2023-03-01 134026.webp

Build week of 3/28, I hope this means it will be built on Wednesday of that week

I keep hearing "Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'" (theme from Rawhide) as an earworm thinking of the assembly line starting up this coming Monday.

So, 2 virtual internet cookies for the first person to post a screenshot showing their '23 Corsair has a built status; 5 virtual internet cookies for the first person to post a screenshot showing their's has been shipped; and, a baker's dozen of virtual internet cookies for the first to post real pictures of their received '23 Corsair.

Don't they teach us that internet cookies are bad for us? Are you offering to track all of our web activity? :D

Well, I was going to make them virtual chocolate chip cookies so I could embed some additional processing power by using those chips to help with the surveillance but due the chip shortage I couldn't 🙂.

Edit: I took one for the team and turned what chip allocation I could get over to Lincoln so we could get the hands-free liftgates.

Hi Sharbotcom. I for one, am not worried, and will accept all virtual cookies! 🍪🤗

Good luck! 🍻

Just found this YouTube video, I guess they have a 2023 Corsair

I know this is the wrong thread, heck even the wrong forum, but since the Corsair and the Escape are cousins, and even built at the same plant, i will say this:

My wife and I are very disappointed in out '22 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum, and are thinking about replacing it with a '23 Escape Hybrid (not PHEV) that might be available, say, in the Fall. Word is they might be adding back in the deleted options. I'd have to see one in person, and would even try to drive one.

We didn't like the redesign with the 2020's but I hear good things about the mid-cycle refresh, including Sync 4.

Just got an update email from Lincoln on my 2023 GT. Still no concern about a slip in the build date - still no date assigned. Helps to keep the blood pressure low by not worrying about a slip in the date. They promise to get back at least every 45 days.

They blame it on "Lincoln and the auto industry are facing unprecedented supply‑chain challenges that directly impact our operations." No admission that they had to shut down manufacturing for almost a month due to a software problem.

Per the email "In the meantime, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding."

Fortunately I am not in a big hurry.
