2022 Navigator

@tobe make sure teh wipe the smudges off that dash lol.

Seriously, everyone check this at delivery. Not sure if the plant workers wear black nitrite gloves that leave residue or what, but mine had to be re-cleaned at delivery. Dealer did a lousy job of prepping but made it right.

Good point. Mine hasn't been prepped by dealer yet.

Same thing happened two years ago at a different dealer, so yeah just go over it with a sharp eye.

My 2020, and I guess other Lincolns, did not have an automatic activation of the front facing camera when front parking aid alert activates. I just pulled in my garage and my front camera did activate. Pretty cool. I think there had been consternation around here about that. I guess Lincoln listened.

Also, having driven the 2020 over many of the same roads so many times, the Adaptive Suspension with Road Preview does a great job of demeaning the ride over bumps I am accustomed to.

Thanks for your updates comparing the two identical versions of the same models but new versus older. It's rare to get that kind of perspective from an owner rather than reviewers. If you have time I hope you will continue. I for one really enjoy reading them, even if I don't have a "Navigator" but hopefully will be owning a "Aviator" soon. Been waiting 6 months tomorrow ...And The Beat Goes On...

Thank you, I appreciate that. Hang in there, it will get here.

I will. My wife thinks I should start a You Tube channel just for the 2022 to explain it lol.

Ha, I think I would have enough content for a bout 3 or 4 videos.

Question for any of you who have taken delivery. I hope I explain this correctly.

When you get in the vehicle and start the engine before buckling the seat belt, you will get the symphonic chimes as well as the Seat belts display as pictured. When you fasten the seat belt, the chimes stop and you get the green check mark as in my attachment. In my vehicle the Seat Belts display remains unless I press OK on the steering wheel or wait about a minute.

Is this functioning correctly. How does that Seat Belts display function in your vehicles? Does it extinguish when you do fasten the seat belt or not?

Anyone? Bueller....?

Mine was "In Production" for over 2mos. ...And The Beat Goes On...
Oh Lord, really? I’ve been “in production” for 10 days and I’m about to climb the walls. The dealer has a similar vehicle as my custom order on hold and we’re literally going to buy whichever gets there first. I was hoping “in production” was a week or so. Ordered this Navigator 11-3-21.

He is getting an Aviator. It sucks he is still pending, but the production process once "In Production" has been moving faster for Navigators to this point that I have seen.
