2022 Navigator

Didn't realize the new Nav has Intelligent Adaptive Cruise. When picking up the wife at the airport just now, when posted speed limits change, the system adjusts the set cruise speed to the new posted limit. Very cool.
I think you need to start a youtube channel and teach us all about these vehicles 😂

I wish. I get corrected around ere so much my head spins lol. Actually, I was reading about IACC on an F-150 thread on Blue Oval Forums.

Oh, and let's see some pics of your Navigator.

He still hasnt had a formal photo shoot 😂 the pollen is brutal the last few days so he was yellow by the time I got home with it yesterday 🤪

Initial impressions are very positive. Plenty of power, very smooth and quiet ride. Will take me a few days to get seats adjusted I think haha.

Couldn’t have asked for a better sales experience so all in all its been fantastic so far.

False. There is no engine cover, so it is not quiet. Lol.

:sneaky:

Question for those of you who have taken delivery. On your navigation screens, if you have Live Traffic on to display, and like most things in the Manual, it is confusing, are any of you getting the green, yellow, and red highlighted roads? I am not. The Manual reads that it will now only show traffic for a destination that has been input.

It's not a big deal, just curious if mine is displaying correctly.

Edit: I toggled off then back on Connected Navigation and zoomed out to see that the traffic is now displaying. Seems to only bad traffic. Sync 3 would show "green" roads as well.

Took delivery of the new beast, the 2022 4x4 Black Label L Navigator.

Same exterior and interior I had on the 2020, Pristine White Metallic Tri-Coat and Chalet theme. This is the L vs. the regular length of my 2020. It is raining today, so I only have managed a few pics I will post here. My initial impressions, in no particular order, are below the pics.

View attachment 13407View attachment 13408View attachment 13409

1. The rain sensing wipers work much better. My 2020 always sensed more rain than was present, and I had it set to lowest sensitivity.
2. One annoying issue that was never solved was the SiruisXM song title being displayed on the instrument cluster. Works on this one.
3. The lack of engine cover: no discernible increase in engine noise. In fact, the engine sounds quieter. Go figure. Looking at the engine, no way the
2020 cover will fit. See pics in Engine Cover Missing thread. There are added components on this engine. Wild guess: ActiveGlide components.
4. The map orientation is cool. There are no + and - buttons or re-centering icon that I could find. It is pinch and zoom. Cool part, you can reset the
view after that if you want. If not, after, I think, 5 seconds, the vehicle icon "snaps back" to center.
5. Speed limit signs on map are more accurate than on Sync 3.
6. Lincoln never admitted I should have had "Miles to empty" on HUD and instrument cluster simultaneously. BS about VIN/build date. Um, it was a
Black Label. Why would something have less functionality? Answer: they were lying. This one displays both properly.
7. When I pulled in the driveway, I did a Sync update scan. Took 5 seconds. 5 seconds, you read that correctly. 2020 would take several minutes, at
best. All over the air, as I was NOT connected to wifi.

Okay, those are just some things I was able to notate, at red lights, of course, that I noticed. Engine/transmission shift points seem peppier as well. Maybe just the new vehicle excitement. Have not been able to test ActiveGlide yet but will do so soon. Love it so far. The issues I mainly experienced seem to be working correctly.

Now, they had to re-clean much of the suede interior. It was smudged with fingerprints or something that must have come from the factory. Who knows? They should have caught it in the prep, but whatever. Pam, the RAV salesperson, got us in and out quickly, and the finance guy had everything ready and took less than 10 minutes. A good experience, overall.
Congratulations, mine is the same color combo. "In Production" Status for the past 6 days! How long did your take from "Built" to delivery?

Built March 29th and delivered April 22. However, it was at the dealer sometime around April 15th. I had to wait on paperwork from Lincoln for the repurchase from them.

Finally have had a day with some sun since getting the 2022 last Friday.

And, for those of you with the Revel system with 28 speakers, if you are wondering where the 4 new speakers are, look up. Above the front and 2nd row seats in the headliner.

Question for any of you who have taken delivery. I hope I explain this correctly.

When you get in the vehicle and start the engine before buckling the seat belt, you will get the symphonic chimes as well as the Seat belts display as pictured. When you fasten the seat belt, the chimes stop and you get the green check mark as in my attachment. In my vehicle the Seat Belts display remains unless I press OK on the steering wheel or wait about a minute.

Is this functioning correctly. How does that Seat Belts display function in your vehicles? Does it extinguish when you do fasten the seat belt or not?

Not picking her up until next week, as I have to haul a horse before then, and they say not to do that within the first 1,000 miles. But I went to meet her at the dealer just now and she looks lovely. BL Chroma Caviar with Invitation. The interior is lighter than I expected and I like it. Not as light as these pics look, but not as black as most of the pics I'd seen.IMG_8649.jpgIMG_2594.jpgIMG_2598 (1).jpgIMG_2597.jpgIMG_2596 (1).jpg

@tobe wow that is gorgeous. I love mine but I may trade it in now haha! Trying to talk the wife in to one. I will have to show her these pics.
