2022 Navigator

Did you receive a different email from Lincoln once it went from delayed to in production?
No I just happened to track it last Wednesday and realized it said IP plus had my window sticker. Which as you know has caused me to panic about my grille 😂

And, once again, the tracking email doesn't work. Lincoln needs to get its collective crap together on that.

My build week was delayed to March 28th, but I have not seen a subsequent delay which has me thinking the week of March 28th might actually happen? What's the latest I could see a delay email from Lincoln on my build date?
My window sticker is still not quite ready ... so am I at risk for another delay here?

I have a sticker now and scheduled for next Tuesday, and I am still at risk of being delayed further.

This may be a dumb question but I’m going to ask it anyway. I only use Apple CarPlay in my ‘19 Navigator, will the update to Sync 4 charge anything about CarPlay for the better?

Hi gg. SYNC 3 can not be upgraded to SYNC 4. So I am not sure if your question applies to your 2019 Navigator or a new one you have on order? Your 2019 Navigator will not be upgraded to SYNC 4.

If you have a new Navigator on order and it will have SYNC 4, then the big change will be wireless Apple CarPlay. So you will no longer need to plug your phone in to use CarPlay.

Good luck.

Thanks! Yes, I have one on order. Not sure it being wireless is a huge deal but most people seem to be pretty happy with SYNC being updated.

There had ben a lot of complaints about that, so it is good that Lincoln listened and made that happen.

My dealer got a ‘22 in and it’s everything I ordered EXCEPT 2nd row console. ☹️

You should go look at it if you havent and see if you like it. R u gonna be using ur truck for like concierge or escort duty?

Maybe you'd like the not having the console.

We found our twin in the Midwest. They wanted 10,000 over sticker and no xplan.
Total BS. Hope you told them to get bent.

Good. Idiots will get their comeuppance when things turn around to normal.

It will be my teenagers in the second row for long distance traveling mostly, and they like the center console. On the rare occasion I sit in the back, I do too, just feels more refined.

I seem to recall several years ago, not necessarily here, people saying that they did not want the V6 EB due to the lack of V8 sound emanating from the engine. Now, it seems people DON'T want engine noise. Which is it lol. I like the way my engine rumbles.
I'd think anyone buying a Navigator wouldn't want the sound as that's the whole entire design aesthetic of the Nav! Quiet, sanctuary, peacefulness, and all kinds of effort to isolate out road noise including ANC if I understand ...

Unless they're lying, Lincoln has spent heaps of $$$ to make Navigators quiet.

I suppose the holy grail is something you can turn on/off but NOBODY has done that right even including those who use fake sound like BMW (assuming one wants fake sound)

Exactly. My other Hyundai Palisade is so quiet and smooth so that kinda raised the bar for my expectations. I also own a ‘21 Aviator but I can hear all the noise outside and feel the bumps on the road thus I’m trading it in for the navigator. Fun to drive for sure! But now, I want more peace, rest and comfort :) must be I’m getting old.

It is all subjective. I like the way the engine noise comes through. It isn't like I'm driving a souped up Raptor, but the engine, to me, does sound smooth and refined. I hear it when I am accelerating, that is it. To me, it is not harsh and overbearing.
