Customer Satisfaction Program 24B54 - Certain 2024 Model Year Nautilus - Update Infotainment Software

Given all complaints here and on FB, I am surprised that Lincoln has not put the CSP on hold even if they believe is the dealer is causing it due to improper procedure. What is Lincoln doing for those that reported new issues - like mirrors not folding, etc?
My 2 cents, it seems may of us have not had any issues with the 24B54 update when it was done correctly. No doubt Lincoln could make the process smoother but you have to lay some of the blame on the dealer, no?

I would agree if the reporting issues were going back and getting them corrected, As usual, the complaints come quickly but the follow up is reported less often so not sure how many were dealer related (closed loop),

In thinking about, someone who picks up their vehicle should do a basic run through before driving off the lot including rebooting it and checking mirror function.

Honestly, when I read how many modules may have to be touched for this update, I decided to let the dealer practice a bit on other vehicles before he touched ours.

Really, so I still have this problem how do I get the fix? Call the dealer I suppose?

Took mine in yesterday, 18 October, for the recall and the subject CSP. Upon arrival, service manager checked and found two additional CSPs for my Nautilus that did not show up on my app.

Additionally, I asked him to look into the rattle I've had in the back since I bought it in March. Now at 2,700 miles.

Rather than the three hours planned for the original two items, he advised that they would need it longer.

The dealership, Planet Lincoln by Love Field in Dallas, requires a 30 day reservation for a loaner. So they Uber-ed me home. This morning they Uber-ed me back.

Having read about the issue with the mirrors not folding on lock, I asked the service advisor to stay with me as I tested it. Sure enough, when I locked the vehicle, the mirrors did not fold.

But here's the good news! We got back into the car and checked the setting. Sure enough, it showed that it was set to on.
So I turned it off, then back on, and we got out and tested it again.

And voila! It works now. So the issue is that that software update causes the display of the setting to be out of sync initially with the actual setting. I asked him to please report it to Lincoln.

Also, when I initially started driving home, the the Miles per Gallon display would not show "electric driving" when I knew for a fact that it was in electric mode. So while driving I performed a ten second reset. About a minute after it completed, it started displaying properly again.

The fix that I'm most ecstatic about is that they got rid of the incessant rattle from the back. Appears to have been the left rear seat buckle, which they tucked away to the side of the seat

The only bad news: When I parked in my garage and stopped the vehicle, I received this warning in my app. Never saw it before. Will wait a while to see whether it was a one off or persists.

Regarding 24P22 and 24P08, those were both battery drain issues from this summer that were discussed a bit here. Did you never have these show up on Lincoln Way? Or ever discuss them with your dealer? I'll admit I've had at least a couple done before they showed up, but I knew about them from this forum.

About the alarm, I wonder if the service guy pulled the belt out far enough to have the pretensioner engaged? Maybe that's why your now getting an error?

No they never showed up in the app, nor on my previous software update visit to the dealer. I saw them discussed here as well, but if the dealer knows nothing about them, they aren't happening.

We'll see on the alarm.

Toggling the switch on and off works for me as well - initially. But as soon as the car goes to sleep, the auto-fold stops working when it wakes up. Please let me know if this happens to you as well. Thanks.

One item the update did not fix is keeping your fan preference when it is set to Motion.
Would be nice to have some release notes or a place to enter bugs.

Yes it should would be nice to have some release notes! It also didn’t appear to fix the issue of saving your volume level between restarts. It seems to always reset back to the default.

Completely agree, love the motion setting and it will not hold anything but off-body (in my experiences). But, they did fix the fan speed setting memory though! If you turn off in Auto mode ("A" for fan speed and Auto Temp) the fan speed will now come back as "A" and not 7 or another number. Baby steps on the bus Bob....slow but sure as long as they don't break bigger things on the code-road. lol

Wife very happy to have her Nautilus back. So far no radio or map issues like we had before. I did a hard reset after her vehicle was returned to us. I have driven a few times and no issues.

My Nautilus has only ever gone to sleep while at the dealer for service and at my detailer for ceramic coating. It has never gone to sleep while at home. So I can not test that.

Went to two stores today. Each time I locked it, the mirrors folded properly. No issues here.

I just had my car returned to the office after the update(s). It took a couple of days at the dealership - they started at 11am on Tuesday and finished installation this morning before lunch. I haven't gotten the paperwork emailed to me yet to see what was done. On the commute home, features gradually 'woke up'. For instance, I noticed my mirrors weren't auto folded when they dropped it off, but they did auto fold when I parked it in the garage. The brake autohold feature did not turn back on until about 2 miles from home. Blue Cruise and Lane Keeping wasn't available until about halfway down the freeway leg. The coolant gauge disappeared mid-drive, but when I went into the menu, it was turned off. Turning back on again made it reappear. By the time I got home everything was working with no issues. I'm wondering if doing a reset immediately after getting into the car and/or after the updates would have resolved all of this immediately.

I'll reiterate the same experiences as others - the turn signal sound is louder and more woodblock sounding. I appreciated having the ETA in the upper display map using the onboard navigation. The touchscreen and displays are way more responsive. The screens seem brighter, fonts clearer and more distinguished from the backgrounds.

I believe the dealer should finish "waking" up the car after the update. Where is the coolant setting? Mine has always been displayed.

Has anyone ever mapped out all the menus
