Open Letter to Lincoln - How I'd Improve the Nautilus

The Lincoln App is nice but it's missing critical status information such as whether the vehicle is locked or not. Attached see the information provided by the Mercedes GLC 300 app.
Totally agree with the app statement... No indication of lock status is unacceptable. I work for a software company and UI is paramount in design... This is a fail.

The SXM widget should include the channel name in addition to, or instead of, the channel number. With sat radio, people tune to a particular channel, The Blend for instance, and not to a particular channel number, like 16.

I would like not only a flashing symbol on your mirror when someone is your blindspot but a sound if your turn signal is on in that left or right position.
This would also be at the top of my list too. Once you’ve experienced the audible warning, you realize how many times it’s the audio that warns you before you even get a chance to look in the side view mirror.

I'm just curious, but have you tried the blind spot assist where it nudges you back? How helpful is that? We haven't tried it yet.

I have not tried it. I guess I didn’t even realize it was an option.

For the blind spot, the situation I see is mainly entering interstates where you are merging at angle and not truly parallel. When driving parallel, your lane is not usually running out.

I know it was said, but I just have to reiterate how there really needs to be some simpler way to access the Media/Sirius or Spotify and to scroll through presets. Too many steps to change a channel.

I don't disagree, but there may be some workarounds. What are your biggest issues?

Mainly just not being able to easily scroll through my Favorites on Sirius. I know how to get to them, but it's like 3 or 4 button pushes from the Home Screen just to go from say The Bridge to Yacht Rock. I'd love to hear of any workarounds.

Just to be sure, do you know that you can scroll thru your SXM favorites using the left and right buttons on the right-side steering wheel controls?

Then I must be doing something wrong, because those buttons do NOT scroll me through my Favorites. I have about 8 favorites set up (stars highlighted), and those buttons take me to other stations....

Hmmm . . . we may or may not be talking about something different. You're saying favorites and I'm saying presets. There's a row of SXM station buttons at the bottom of the SXM screen. You press one of the buttons for a few seconds and it changes to the station you're listening to in order to record the station as a preset. There are many more than eight preset station buttons and I believe they're all pre-populated. Is it possible that when you're using the steering wheel buttons, you're scrolling thru the pre-populated presets and haven't yet got to the eight that you've recorded?

After I typed my last post, a light bulb went off that that might be what you're referring to. And you're correct. The issue I had with the presets was that it was confusing as to how to replace one that I don't want there.

But bottom line...you're saying the arrows will scroll me through those presets if I can get them set up properly? Great to know, and once again you come through for me!

I have the max number of presets saved and the steering wheel arrows scroll through them -- no need to touch the screen.

Yes. btw, "getting then set up properly" can be a bitch. You cannot reorder them or simply delete a button that is populated. I did a bit of careful planning before I began recording my presets.

Since you can't delete a preset, you really have to use them all. Otherwise, you're going to be scrolling thru the pre-populated presets. Are you listening, Lincoln??

So can you save over one that's already there?
