Open Letter to Lincoln - How I'd Improve the Nautilus

I also would like more control (zoom) on the 48-in screen map.

Maybe offer a "simplified" A/C control view in black and white (higher contrast, larger letters (touch points)). This is a variation an earlier comment.

Add a panel in center display for more information that is available - oil pressure, battery voltage, miles/operating hours since last oil reset, brake coach stats (avg), oither battery stats, etc for us nosey people can see.

I'd like to offer a suggestion. First I'd like to see Lincoln offer a Nautilus that doesn't have injector tips potentially breaking off and dropping in the combustion area, maybe even one free from numerous software glitches.
Let's start there since these should be easy.

I would prefer the Drive Mode console button to cycle through modes rather than redirecting your eyes to the center display. It is glitchy and non intuitive currently.

A physical Hot Key for frequently requested actions that are 3 or 4 steps into the software would be appreciated. something like the Max Defrost on console.

Both of these items are a safety issue for me.

I agree totally!! Especially with the Drive Mode selection. Interesting the manual states that you can press the button multiple times to cycle through the drive modes:

Bring back manual vent controls. I adjust them while driving and can play with direction without taking eyes away from road. On a 23 Nautilis I drove yesterday, I could also blindly toggle temp level by feel.

I think @Rasherms00 is saying that the Fuel Economy widget shows whether the ICE is running.

I've never thought that tachs are very useful with CVTs. Fwiw, the non-hybrid model displays a linear tach when in Excite Drive Mode.
Oh. OK.

A small tachometer appears at the top of the screen in EXCITE mode. It is very small and a linear thermometer guage type. Fairly useless.

I've had my car for a little over a month and while I love it, there are a few things that I would like to see added/enhanced:
  • The controls on the steering wheel -- on the left-hand side: Add more direct shortcuts to buried features, maybe a shortcut to the Phone icon that is listed in the Settings menu, for example.
  • The controls on the steering wheel -- on the right-hand side: More audio controls. I like that it has volume and next track/station capability but how about adding a shortcut to switching audio modes? Right now it seems like you have to go to Home menu and tap the drop-down icon to switch to a different audio source
  • More audio ideas:
    • More audio presets (like vocal clarity or music genres) and allow the driver to better fine tune the ambience settings (than just the typical Stereo, Audience, Soundstage)
    • Here's a wacky one -- allow the driver/passenger/whoever to create a custom audio menu that could contain their favorite AM/FM stations, or Spotify/YouTube Music/TuneIn/SXM channels on the same screen.
  • For the display:
    • There should be more than just the current time. The full date would be nice as well
    • Google calendar integration
    • GPS related items, such as, showing restaurants, gas stations, POI that are available at the next exit
    • Allow Waze to show on the screen or if that is not possible then just leave Google Maps in that spot.

Is their address recorded in the Contact?

I would like to have an adjustable accelerator and brake pedal.

I am assuming you mean adjustable as in moving in or away from the driver's seat. I think this is something that should have been included on a luxury vehicle of this caliber.
