What are your likes and dislikes concerning the Lincoln Corsair?

I wish I could get the one I have ordered. Since Jan 15,2022! Then I could let you know . They have pushed it out every month since May. Very disappointed in Lincoln. If they are not going to build it , they should not have took the order!! It is funny in WWII THEY built bomber planes by the thousands now can’t get car built. Stop pushing the ev’s and build what brought you to the dance!! I hope the corsair is better than the production process!!

I think orders were taken with the intention of vehicles being built.

However, we are in a massive chip shortage crisis. It's not just Lincoln who is being affected. All car companies are experiencing build setbacks.

The latest news is saying that this will continue through 2023.

Sorry, but there were no computer chips going into WWII bomber planes so that's a tough comparison to make.

Not exactly many thousands
Ford only built about 4600 B24s in Willow run in about 3 years
At one point Ford did provide cots pilots to sleep in while their B24 being built.
Compared to Corsair that is about 2 to 3 months production

A Corsair has a few more optional features like power seats

I've had my 22PHEV since April. I know many will not relate to the plug hybrid model but I think it's great in today's market availability. Some minor disappointments read below but overall it's among the best PHEV models doing. Fuel mileage on all ev, around town driving, gets it the best mileage available, empg = 105. No gas no skeegee resonates for me.

One weird 4 wheel drive fault in ev mode has been impossible to diagnose. The talk button position on the steering wheel is not helpful.

Otherwise I'm in a comfortable SUV experiencing luxury awd great mileage nirvana. Get the phev if you can.

Can everyone clarify if the have the Standard or the Perfect Way seats?

Some say they hate and some say its the best ever but don't state if standard or perfect way.

It seems like the standard may be the more comfortable option as the perfect way have more mechanical components in the seats

We have had our '21 Reserve barely two months, but some initial impressions:
Like: size, looks, quality, comfort, ride, features
Dislike: auto start/stop is default, seat heat and vent settings don't reset to off at ignition off. Changing the cabin air filter--Really Lincoln engineers?? Drop glove compartment, pry off a side panel, remove 9 screws to get to a barely reachable filter slot??? A few other nits, but things one can get used to.
Not sure: Adaptive cruise control and steering wheel sensor--my hands must be inorganic because I constantly get the nag warning to keep hands on wheel, and I have to move or squeeze my hands to recover.

I did! I love it so far.
I saw a service bulletin for models prior to 2022 about the driver seat slightly shifting while making tight turns. Are you experiencing this too?
Also, I got to wait until next month to address that underhood fire recall.

Other than that, the Corsair GT is A1!

Not sure when the recall gets to me I'll have to research it. No haven't experienced a driver seat shift on right turns, but not yet satisfied with three driver seat memory. It seems like it doesn't store updated seat preferences and defaults to three original. One other disappointment is the sunroof function. I like to set the tilt for a cracked open vent and then slide the shade almost closed to protect my vision. Haven't seen how to do this or if it can be done at all.

My 2020 did something similar, but the "original" setting was akin to the Death Star trash compactor in the original Star Wars movie. Sometimes, though, the car would actually remember my preference.

I don't think that you can. My Corsair didn't have a sunroof, but my 2010 Edge does, and it doesn't do that either. if I open the tilt side, the shade will fully open first.

I must have spoke too soon, or you sensitized me to feel it. Now I notice a slight seat shift on tight turns in either direction. I'm 190 lbs.

Thx for the service bulletin reference. I'll have the dealer adjust it on next visit.

I'll add to the list

Likes:
Ride comfort
Mostly quite
Style
Seat comfort
Fuel economy and power
Lighting
Physical buttons for everything

Dislikes:
Pretty poor build quality
Reval sound system isn't great
Wind noise in certain conditions
Interior "noise". I can't tell if I am over sensitive to it because it's otherwise so quite or if there really are interior bits rubbing together on broken pavement.
Transmission tuning
Brake pedal tuning.
Camera system quality is quite poor and doesn't fill the screen.

Agreed! Great car overall, but nothing's perfect. And they sure as hell are an order of magnitude better than the days of higher cost for lower quality than just about any imports, except perhaps the Yugo... Ha. Ha.

My most appreciated likes are the 360 camera which I find quite useful, and the perfect position seats which offer so much more flexibility in comfort than the typical seat and lumbar.

I'll add a dislike that even in the '22 model year, Corsair still doesn't offer wireless CarPlay! Really? That should be a software update given the current wireless bluetooth phone connection capability. But, at least the aftermarket solution (introduced here on this Corsair forum) has been pretty good and is about 95% reliable. Which is still better than cabling up every time I want to use CarPlay; and now I can simply put the phone in the charging cradle for longer trips.

My interior noise is annoying in the sun roof at the beam between the front and rear sections. I can press on it, and the rattling noise stops. Not bad enough yet to take it in for service.

Wish they’d get rid of that plastic trim between the sunroof pane. All it does is make noise.

I now have turned over 50,000 miles on my 2020. One thing I can add to my list of likes is that I've had no mechanical problems so far. I've just done regularly scheduled oil changes. I'm close to being in the market for new tires, which isn't unexpected at 50k, so that's all good news. The seats, however, are still unbearable and it has a fair number of muted, though annoying, interior squeaks & rattles. I suppose reliability counts for a lot, but quiet, comfort and quality materials also count for a lot in a luxury car, and I feel each of those need improvement. When it's time to trade, which is somewhat close, the Corsair will not make my list of considerations this time. Spending 2 to 3 hours a day in a car, I need seat comfort, and I just don't find it in this vehicle. It's sad, because overall there's so much to like about it.

I find mine to be comfortable. Much softer than the seats in my Equinox. Only minor seat complaint is that the headrest is positioned a little too far forward. Nice when I want to rest my head on it but also annoying when I don’t.

Have you tried pulling it forward? Mine have a ratcet mechanism and multiple positions.

Generally speaking, it SHOULD be more comfortable than a Chevy Equinox...that's a pretty low bar. I was comparing it to my previous Lincoln's.
