It does look like Burgundy Velvet!! So both dealers made the same mistake?! I've posted the video of the Diamond Red that was taken at an auto show. It looks much brighter. It's on post #7 of this thread.
Exactly! It looks like the Burgundy Velvet which was a 2022 color for the Aviator. However, they don't have in the 2022 model a color that is similar to the Jewel Sandstone. So I'm thinking that is the correct color.
If that is the true colour Jewel Sandstone, I'll take it but the 2023 doesn't go into production until the 27th so how did they get that vehicle. I wonder if it could be an off colour of the Silver Radiance?
It's very possible Lincoln made the Aviator in the new colors for catalog or auto show purposes. That's why they had the Diamond Red at an auto show. What's confusing me is that the red color looks like the Burgundy Velvet. The description of the Jewel Sandstone is a beige color. That color is like a metallic beige. In addition...@maxmaxximum also received the picture from another dealer. It is simply amazing that both dealers made the same mistake. I called the dealership several weeks ago...at that time they told me they didn't have pictures of the new colors...they told me that as soon as they receive the pictures...they will be emailing them to me. I just received the email yesterday.

I ordered mine 4-9.Got VIN# today with build date of 8-17. My dealer had this picture as well.... I think it's wrong. It looks like Burgundy Velvet. Fingers crossed this is not the color!
I agree...I like the red color in the video much better! The question is: Why would they replace a color with another that is almost the same?? It makes more sense that they replaced the Burgundy Velvet with a bright red color like the one in the video...
And they just started production! How did that dealer get one Already?
Three people received a picture of the red color from their dealer. All of them look almost identical to the Burgundy Velvet color. It's my understanding when a car manufacturer discontinues a color they replace it with a color that is different...otherwise...what would be the purpose? I think those dealers are confused lol..
I've been trying to get to the 2023 "Build& Price" on the Lincoln website...it is not loading! I don't think it's my computer as I have no problem getting the build and price on other vehicles. The problem is limited to the Aviator!!

Thanks! It did work on the visualizer. WOW...the Diamond Red is indeed dark...I don't like the Jewel Sandstone....it looks silver to me. The ceramic pearl looks much warmer than it. Frankly...I expected the opposite to be true. I'm back to square one as to color!
