My Lincoln
2022 Lincoln Navigator L Black Label
Instead of searching around let's use this tread to show the latest software updates and discuss what they are for.

Here's my latest from yesterday:

Lincoln Enhance

Minor updates

A small adjustment so your vehicle can prepare for future updates that are more complex.

Lincoln Enhance delivers software updates that are designed to make your Lincoln Navigator® SUV better over time.

Priority Update 22-PU1009-SMN-MGTD

I received that update several months ago. Someone posted in the BlueCruise thread an update he got for some battery enhancement. In the last 2 weeks I have gotten the enhanced dashboard alerts and steering assist updates.

Thanks for the response. Can you tell any difference? I had my car at the dealership a few weeks ago and they said they had updated all of the software so I'm not sure what I actually have. I don't see anything on the Lincoln app. Am I missing something?

I can't tell any difference. I am actually driving a 2024 loaner from my dealer as I have a few things dome. For grins, I checked for updates. The vehicle said it was up to date. I connected it to my wifi in my garage and then it downloaded and installed the enhanced dashboard alerts update. So...I have no idea what is current or not. As far as the app, sometimes you have to completely close out the app and re-open for an update to show in there. Sometimes not.

I got this update today.

Thanks for starting this thread. I was thinking of doing the same thing as it has been frustrating trying to find info on updates. I'm noticing that updates seem to be rolling out over LONG periods of time. I've received 2 in the past 10 days, but I know others have received "steering wheel" and "batter" updates recently that I haven't. Prior to the last 2 updates, I hadn't received anything since November 2023.

Please include the Year and model for reference. I'm not sure if the Black Label gets updates before the Reserve and I'm sure year certainly makes a difference.

I've also determined that most of these OTA updates do NOT update the SYNC version.

I have received both recently too. It looks like they are coming out within a week or two of each person depending on your car. I don't notice any differences in the performance yet.

I have a 2023 Black Label and have not received any updates since July of 2023,I bought it in May of 2023.

Setting up you car to your home wireless wifi at night is very important! I'm posting this because some of us may not know about this!

I got this one last night

That may be why i`m not getting the updates my car is in an unattached garage in the back of the property.

Try connecting to wifi through the settings screen in the car. It will show if you have a signal. If it doesn't show a signal you can get a wi-fi extender.

Oh thank you! I will defiantly try that.

I get them after driving on the highway and they do them over the air without wifi. I rarely get one if I am just driving around the city.

Correct, you can get them while driving but depending on the size they may not complete the download. In the settings screen you can schedule a download time over wi-fi. Ours is set for 1 AM.

Just got this immediately after my last update was installed. It's funny how I haven't received any updates for 6 months and then all of a sudden I get 3 in 2 weeks. It's too bad they aren't cumulative. Based on other posts, the only one I have missing is the "steering wheel" update.

I also noticed the updates are no longer showing in the Message Center so now there is no way to know what was previously installed and when.

I just checked the wifi through the settings screen and it cannot receive my home wifi network, and the last update that was completed was 5.3.1.Maybe I can try parking it outside by the window where the modem is located or get an extender.
