You might also look in to getting a "mesh" system. I have "Deco". It allows devices to join each individual puck as you walk through the house vs having to have a separate wifi name to join. Think just how your phone joins "cells" as you travel. I have a puck in my garage. My vehicle joins my wifi as zi drive up into my driveway.
You can also just turn on your hotspot on your phone and connect to that for a quick check.
I hadn't thought of that since the info always specifies wifi. Hotspot is using cellular data, so does that actually work? Have you done that?
Hotspot basically creates a Wifi connection point when it is turned on. I haven't done it with my car, but I've done it in many other scenarios. It's the same idea.
