I just leased a '22 Corsair and noticed the shifting in the seat when turning. It's irritating and I was looking at the track last night to see if there was anything broken. I did not seem to have this in my 2019 Mkc. So glad I saw this post! Timing...
Well, just dropped it off the service writer was skeptical about the movement. She asked for me to demonstrate it, so I tried, but it not like it’s moving an inch in either direction. I told her about the TSB but she just kept repeating “It’s not a recall”……no kidding. But obviously it IS a known issue. They have to have it a minimum of 3 days she said. They rented me the stankest Nissan Murano. When I got home I doused the entire interior in Lysol.
Honestly, I really don't care HOW they resolve the moving/bumping seat, as long as it is fixed without any reduction in usability.. Out of sight out of mind. It has been fixed on both my previous '21 Reserve and my current '22 Reserve.
I do find it odd that there hasn't been a factory/suppler fix before production, but these are very strange times.
Love the Corsair. I would not have bought another one after my '21 was totaled if I didn't love it.
Well they took me by surprise last night at the last minute and called to say come pick up my Corsair! From what I can tell the seat is better, although I can still hear the seat bottom make a little noise when turning, but as far as I can tell it doesn’t move any more.
But the passenger rattle got the dreaded “Can’t replicate” response.

I recently purchased a 2022 Corsair GT and noticed this problem in both front seats (not major, but noticeable). It was very helpful to find other people had this same problem. As a note, I discovered the TSB for this problem has been updated as 22-2100 (supersedes 21-2185) to add the 2022 model years to the bulletin. It doesn't look like anything changed in the actual fix procedure.

I had the fix done to mine (both front seats) and does get rid of the annoying movement and bump. The service manager had to shake his head at the fix. But it works and all is good, so I'd definitely get it done.
